I've been very lenient with this place in the past, since I discovered it quite a time ago. If it were for Cristian (the employee who took both of my calls and made the reservation), I would have given it a 5-star. Cristian was very attentive, courteous, and efficient. I gathered a group of 11 peeps (Thursday, April 29th, 2021) under a reservation. Humbly, I selected the place, amongst many like places with a myriad of offers in the Zona Colonial (Colonial Zone of Santo Domingo). Although I could barely eat because of a strict diet I'm following, the whole group loved the food. But there's a serious challenge with the customer service. But the waitress and her backup added an additional bottle of water to my account, inspite the fact I had only taken one. I gave both the waitress and her backup plenty of time to rectify stating "if you think it's fair to charge it to my card, go ahead, but I did not consume it". AND THEY WENT AHEAD AND CHARGED IT, REGARDLESS!. The other bottle of water was consumed by another one of my friends, it was a completely different bottled water brand, and it was already paid in a different account. We had this gentle discussion all of us, but they went ahead and did overcharged me. I would rather have given the fee of the overcharged bottle of water of RD$147.5 = USD2.55 for both of them as a tip, willingly. It's not a matter of the money they overcharged me, more than their attitude and their service skills. By the way, a 10% is already charged in the bill by law in the D.R., to protect both waiters and waitresses, in restaurants, bars and other places that serve food and drinks. Please, go ahead, and take account carefully of your orders and bills. It's the least advice I could ever give you positively. Hope this helps everyone, humbly.

I didn't enjoy Le Petit. First it's too expensive for what you get. The pizzas are literally paper thin at a premium price. I enjoy a thin pizza but that's too thin. Just touching the crust breaks the pizza in half. And since its so thin the dough not the cheese have flavor. Then the beverages are extremely overpriced. One soda costs 130 pesos when they're super small. I know their is upcharge in restaurants but these bottles are 20 pesos in the stores here. There is much better pizza and prices in the zona. It explains why I was only person there during my visit. If you must try it go during happy hours which is M-F 12-3pm. Pizza and a soda are less than 400 pesos. My bill was a ridiculous 600 pesos.

a birthday surprise ruined (thanks a lot btw) It all started so good, beautiful place, nice atmosphere.. I was sure this surprise Birthday dinner was going to be a succes. All went good until all the friends arrived. before we ordered, another table came to complain right in front of us that they waited over an hour and nothing is coming.. the waiter assured us this was never going to happen with us and smiled the guests away. so we ordered, 3 starters, 2 pizzas. drinks 2 out of 5 arrived within 5min the other 3 drinks finally arrived after FIFTY MINUTES and asking 3 times...2 out 3 starters arrived in 25min but the pizzas and final starter??? well... NEVER! we waited patiently 1h and 20min but than it got too much for us we asked to cancel the order.. the way the staff replied, made us believe they never even started.. so here we are.. 11:50 eating burger king as Birthday dinner..
