Doughnut Party in Ritchie got me through the long, long winter. Whenever I was cold, sad about being cold or stressed about how far away summer seemed I would swing by Doughnut Party on my lunch break for a quick half dozen gooey little friends to warm me up. And it wasn’t just the doughnuts that warmed up my soul! The staff were always so kind and welcoming. They were always there, smiles on, happy to answer my intensive questions about the various kinds of doughnuts being served that day. They never judged me for how often I walked through their doors, always pretended to believe me when I said I was buying all the doughnuts to share with my coworkers and pretended not to notice me sitting in my car stuffing my face. If I HAD to chose a favourite it would be the Horchata doughnut closely followed by Death by Chocolate, but I’ve never been disappointed with any kind ever. Over the course of the winter I felt like I became a member of the Doughnut Party family, and it turns out doughnuts are not just for winter! I’ve continued popping by for our little visits into the summer and great news, doughnuts taste just as good in warm weather too!!

Read moreI just discovered this delish gem in the heart of Ritchie. Every time I go in a don’t know what delicious flavours await or which I’ll choose till I see one and just know we were meant to be together. I’m sorry Tim, Dunkin’ and Krispy but y’all got nothing one this party. Today I tried the original. O M G…..O M G….oh yah I don’t like glaze. Like my go to is an old fashioned plain but they turned me to the glazed side. One day I’m excited to take on the giant fritter. I tried the little one and it was so amazing with the London Fog drizzle. Having arrived from the states I didn’t even know what London Fog was until my sis told me. Oh and don’t forget the drinks as well. The Saskatoon Lemonade is sooooo good. This keeps getting longer as I try new ones. Literally landed so late last night. In bed finally at 2 and at 10 I was up wanting a donut. I’m sorry Tim but Lavender, rosemary, chocolate and sea salt. One of the reasons OMG...
Read moreMy whole family is obsessed with Doughnut Party! We love their massive, delicious, face sized yeast doughnuts - can’t get enough (but it would get too expensive). We treat ourselves at least once a month always preordering for pick up to ensure we get the flavour our hearts are set on. My kid always goes for a sprinkle or a twist (classic will do in a pinch); my husband loves the classic and the old fashioned donuts; and I’m the most adventurous loving all things chocolate (salty witch and cosmic brownie are top of mind) or unexpected (lavender and rosemary/black sesame and passionfruit). And I’ll take a sprinkle one any day. They’ve got something...
