I recently visited GAD, an oriental eatery that serves a wide range of breakfast items. I ordered fava beans with sausages, stuffed falafel, omelette with cheese, French fries, mixed pickles, and bread in their open dining hall. The first thing that caught my attention was the swing chair, which was quite unique and added a fun element to the dining experience.
The food was delicious, and I particularly enjoyed the stuffed falafel, which was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The fava beans with sausages were also quite tasty and went well with the bread. The omelette with cheese was fluffy and light, and the French fries were crispy and perfectly seasoned. The mixed pickles were a nice addition and added a tangy flavor to the meal.
However, I was disappointed with the attitude of the garçon, who seemed quite uninterested in providing good service. He was often unresponsive and didn't initiate assistance when needed, which left a sour taste in my mouth. I think the restaurant could benefit from training their staff to be more attentive and friendly towards customers.

Read more🇬🇧English review🇬🇧 We stopped here for some food on a recommendation from our taxi driver.
The food was excellent, we had pizza and burgers, nothing too fancy as just fancied as it was a quick lunch. It was very fresh, nicely presented and good sized portions for a very reasonable price on the menu. There is a service charge included in the bill.
A word of warning please be observant when settling the bill make sure you have cash and have a currency converter to hand if paying on other currencies. The bill was reasonably priced at 1435EGP, they only take cash and as we didn’t have enough EGP we asked for the price to converted to GBP. They tried to overcharge us by £14GBP stating the price was £36 whereas the conversion was nearer £23 at the time.
Other than this small issue the restaurant is definitely...
Read moreThe personnel especially the one that goes around( maybe the manager) is not professional. When we paid he didnt accept to give us the money back( we did the exchange of dollars to EGP, and he refused to give us the actual change rate. If it wasn't for a good reason we would ve let the rest as a tip for him even if he wasnt good, but we didnt have enough cash on us for the taxi to go back to the hotel so we told him we want the change with the actual rate stated on the internet and still he refused to give us the change with the bank rate. They didnt have Payment by visa possibility only cash. Anyway it was a bad experience and i wont eat in this place another time.
The shawarma I took was good, the juice quality was really bad comparing to other places nearby
