The Odeon Palace Bar in downtown Cairo is a hidden gem! It’s one of the few spots in the city serving alcohol, and the prices were pleasantly fair, which stood out. Rooftop bar that's open 24/7. Kind of divey, it hasn't changed in decades. Perfect for after hours drinking and they are open during Ramadan (bring your passport, they do insist on it.) Service varies between formal and polite or slooow and aloof. Outdoor and inside seating available. But don't bother asking for tea, they won't serve it. Non-drinkers will be limited to sodas.
