Traditional Egyptian food. 'Koshary'. A combination of pasta, rice, lentils and chickpeas. Additionally, in the bowl next to it, there is a sauce resembling with minced tomato soup. Fried onion served in colorful bags. Don't force it, if you can't eat something, it is listed next to it so you can choose how you eat your dish. Very thoughtful. When in Cairo, you must come here. We've eaten other koshary in other places but this one definitely wins. The service was efficient, friendly, incredibly smiling and speaking English. The waiter will come up and ask you what you need with a wide, sincere smile. The prices are reasonable and the food is delicious. The atmosphere of the bar is pleasant and local. Quick service style with a restaurant area on the floor above the kitchen. We felt healthily full. We came back a few more times and each time we took more King portions to go. On Google maps it is in a different place. It's actually across the street. If you look around you will definitely notice it....

Please note that Koshary is a local dish. So don't expect the Koshary restaurants to be fancy or anything. They're so average considering seating,...
