Panorama Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Elephantine Island

Dined here during our stay in Aswan. It’s located on the 13th floor of the hotel and has a beautiful Panaromic view of the city facing Nile.

We started off with bread basket. Breads were a bit dry. There were very few vegetarian appetizer and nothing particularly appealing. We ordered veggie penne pasta and pea risotto for main course. Pasta was flavorful but only a little less cooked. Pea risotto was delicious. The portions were filling. We got Key lime pie for dessert and it was a bit disappointing. The manager quickly replaced it with crème brûlée. The service was generally great, just a bit slower.

Overall, the food was great compared to other options available in the town. Great date night...

Definitely not The best restaurant in town,. The view is extraordinary the food is mediocre I had the asparagus/ mushrooms truffle soup it was delicious but cold, we wanted to order the ribeye steak but they were out so we decided to share a tomahawk steak, The quality of the meat was not up to par on what a 5 stars restaurant should serve it was tough and bristled needless to say it was difficult to cut also it wasn’t seasoned enough for such a big chunk of meat. The restaurant need to invest in better steak knives. The restaurant is romantic with all those lighted candles and the view is incredible with no obstructions that deserve an A+ I am sorry but the food...

Very disappointing. Below average quality of food, service inexisting. What a disaster considering the price and the fact that the restaurant belongs to a five star resort. Not even the tequila sunrise was tasty. The only positive thing about this place is the view. Eating there is a waste of money. The chef de service ali was extremely rude and could not accept our feedback. The soup looked very disgusting as if it had beeen already digested... and it also tasted alike. They even managed to spoil...
