The interior of the restaurant and the outdoor environment are created in an original way. The grilled fish was excellent and the strawberry dessert had a delicate taste and fresh aromatic berries. The only thing that bothered my eye was the chipped edge of the beautiful plate. Such plates must go to the trash and never return to the table. The food is really tasty and of high quality - a fiesta of flavors. Unfortunately, the coffee was served cold and probably after standing in the coffee maker. Tipping by bank card turned out to be complicated, at least for us. Due to the chipped dessert plate and the cold stale coffee, I cannot give the restaurant a 5* rating. Unfortunately... I will remember the great taste of strawberry dessert just as long as the edge of a chipped plate. By the way, I visited here because a friend who visited a few years ago...
Read moreWe had a table reservation for 2 people on our last night at Kuressaar, which we came in 5 minutes late due to weather, but still inside the regular 15 minutes window. The person at the front desk was somehow not on top of things, surprised that we were there and gestured for us to find a table, even though we had booked one? We took a table. Nothing happened in the next 15 minutes. We eventually left.
Aside the lack of service, also the atmosphere and decor inside was not how described or seen on pictures, not as fancy, perhaps we were just put in a dated room with kids playcorner. Outside terrace looks nice, but not unique. Can't say anything for the food, like said.
As a side note, it seems the place also ignores less admiring reviews on GMaps but does respond to good reviewers - an alarming way of dealing with feedback. Not...
Read moreHad an amazing dinner there with my husband and daughter. This place has free parking and is very family friendly with both indoor and outdoor children playgrounds, so kids won’t get bored. Restaurant is made in the old windmill and combines history and modern luxury, feels very unusual and interesting. In my opinion, it is must visit in the city! Friendly and caring staff left a hand written good wish on a table, that boosted our good mood from the beginning! There are local traditional dishes in the menu, redesigned and upgraded to fit modern trends, they were beautiful and delicious. Couldn’t imagine a better place to try a soup served in a freshly baked bread for the first time. We enjoyed our time here very much and wish everyone visiting...
