Stylish new restaurant located in one of the most beautiful areas of the Old Town. The service and the atmosphere were pretty nice and the waitress was very friendly.
We arrived like at 9 pm and they told us that they didn't have main courses any longer, so we decided to order burgers. We had a couple of Classic burgers (one of them with fries) and two sodas (Pepsi and 7Up). My 7Up was expired (5/2023), so food-wise we already started with the wrong foot. When the burgers arrived, one of the first things that I noticed was that the top bun was kind of warm, whereas the bottom bun was mushy and totally cold. Additionally, it just tasted like a burger bread from the supermarket. I said to myself: "ok, bad quality bread, but let's wait and taste the rest of the burger". Unfortunately the whole burger was an even bigger disappointment than the bun: The patty was overcooked and tasted like those frozen cheap patties you get from the supermarket. The barbecue sauce and relish were super strong (not homemade) and overpowered the rest of the elements on the burger.
So in brief: bad bun, bad patty and bad sauce and relish.
With regard to the fries, they were certainly frozen fries from a bag, but they tasted ok, and the sauce with which they came was also quite good to be honest.
In general, the whole meal was a disappointment and their burgers are not worth it for 10 EUR. You can get a better burger at McDonald's for half the price, and if you fancy a gastro burger, there are way better burger...
Read moreI wouldn’t exactly recommend this place for its food.
The restaurant has a great location and the atmosphere and service were very nice so we decided to give it a go. When we saw the prices we thought it to be a bit on the expensive side, but we checked Google maps and so many great reviews that it was worth the shot.
We ordered the burgers because they were out of mains. To me when you pay over 10€ for a burger the expectations are that it doesn’t come with a cold bun, and that it’s not made with a supermarket patty. By the way the fries you pay on top of the burger price and they’re not handmade either.
We were kind of surprised and checked Google maps again, and realised most of the reviewers didn’t have many previous reviews, or none at all, and besides us everyone else in the restaurant at the time we’re friends with the owners.
Overall, I’d say it’s not worth the price nor...
Read moreFinding a place like this in Tallinn is such a treat. My husband and I shared the three cheese and mortadella sandwich toasts both were absolutely delicious. The ingredients were super fresh, the service was warm and fast, and everything came out piping hot. The three-cheese toast, especially with the sundried tomatoes, took me right back to the tomato paste toasts from my childhood in Turkey such a nostalgic :) twist It’s rare to find good sandwich options in Tallinn, but this spot more than makes up for it. I’ll definitely be coming back again and again 😊 I usually take a photo before eating, but this time I just couldn’t resist so here’s a shot of my...
