Service in general is bad in most establishments in Addis but this place is exceptional when it comes to bad service. It's almost like the staff is rewarded for bad service. They forget orders, they are not attentive and they just don't care. After the order was an hour late the waiter came back to tell me they don't have what I ordered and that I should order something else. The manager (Liam) is useless because the bad service is a reflection of his efforts. He is always present but the quality of service doesn't get any better with his presence. A really nice courtyard to hangout in. The surrounding buildings act as wind breakers so it's quite pleasant sitting outside. They also have gas lamps as the evening gets colder. The mini false banana trees and other plants make for a cosy tropical look. The macchiato is excellent here. They're also GREEN at this hotel so they distill their own water and bottle it in glass bottles (sealed) and there are only metal straws. Free Wi-Fi also available but the speed is not extra fast (for a place as nice as this). Oh, forget...

The service at this cafe was truly horrible. Our drinks came on time but we had to wait over 2 hours for a quesadilla?! The waiters were just all milling about confused with no sense of who was manning which table, and were utterly hopeless in fixing the issue when we tried to follow up on where our order had gone.
