I recently had the pleasure of dining at Hyatt Regency Addis, and the experience was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm, elegant, and inviting. The food was absolutely delicious—each dish was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented.

What truly made the evening special was the outstanding service. We were warmly welcomed by Emebet, the hostess, who set the tone for the evening with her professionalism and kind demeanor. At the bar, Anteneh crafted excellent alcohol free drinks with skill and enthusiasm. Our servers, Hana and Asmamaw, were attentive, friendly, and ensured we had everything we needed throughout the night. Special thanks to Esayas and Yenenesh, the managers, whose presence and leadership were clearly reflected in the quality of service and attention to detail.

Quite a deception for the special event of Taste of Indonesia. From the beginning to end the service was horrible. We had to ask for everything (menu, to order, follow up on order etc) they seem to had major confusion on which waiter take care of what. One waiter tell us they dont have a cocktail the other tell of yes. It was slow very slow to get anything we order. Menu wasn’t explain to us so my friend end up with a half of a fried chicken with no side. Menu add 0 flexibility (I ask to add chicken of another dish to mine and got denied). One of our plant based appetizers end un having egg in it, the other had chewy beef piece and the Nasi Goreng kampung was way to garlicky that my friend end up having 3 bites, we didn’t change it because it would have take to long to received it back. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate my son’s birthday. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations.

Yenenesh, the supervisor, was incredibly thoughtful and made sure everything ran smoothly. Her presence and care were truly appreciated. Melat, our server, was a joy friendly, attentive, and made everyone at the table feel special.

The food was outstanding! Every dish was full of flavor, perfectly cooked, and served with care. Our guests kept raving about how good everything tasted.
