Highly recommend this restaurant in Hilton resort for people staying as a guest or outside guests. The food is fabulous and the service is phenomenal. Fijian people are so friendly and nice at Hilton to everyone and kids. The restaurant is located right on the beach front so lovely sunset views. We did not have a reservation, but they still managed to find a table for us on a busy Friday night. Food is well presented, good portion, smells really good and reasonably priced for hotel. Fiji beer such as vonu is also a easy to drink and refreshing beer to start the night. When ordering food, you need to be super clear with them if you have any dietary or allergy requirements. We specifically ask for no peanuts and chilli, and it got served with chilli. They were nice enough to make as a new dish without chilli even though we already eaten half. Staff members are super friendly, frequently check if everything is okay and if we wanted more drinks. Crab dish is well worth a try, big in portion and delicious, but you need to rock up early so you don’t get disappointed before it sells out.

Read moreThe food is fairly standard (nothing extraordinary nor authentic). However, it is a little pricey. The restaurant atmosphere is excellent, and it is conveniently located near the beach. To dine at this restaurant, you must make a reservation in advance.
Customer service is hit-or-miss here. Our waitress was excellent the first night we were here. We asked her after ordering food if we could also eat some food we bought from outside for the kids, and she said it was fine. Mr. Eroni, the Manager, came in halfway through and abruptly told us that we had to stop eating it immediately. It was a very unpleasant situation. Rather than telling us that we were actually not permitted to bring in food from outside but that it was fine for us to finish it in this instance (and to note in future that no outside food is allowed), he rudely told us to stop eating immediately! We told him that we did check but he insisted we stop eating it. For that I give their customer service a 2/5 which made the overall experience poor even though some of the food and dishes we ordered from...
Read moreThis place was excellent. You'd be forgiven for thinking that maybe a resort restaurant would be gambling on guests having no other options, however this little restaurant ticked all the boxes for us. Food was priced about the same as back home in NZ, with a lovely beachside setting. We liked the twist on the duck pancakes using roti instead of rice pancakes, and everything else tasted great. I'd rate the green curry I had here as easily one of the best I've eaten in NZ, Aus or Fiji.
Edit: came back again and the food was once again great, but the service was... well, it was the worst experience I've had in Denarau out of seven trips in the past eight years. There were issues with the booking, the service on the night was slow, and the team didn't have basic numeracy: the card machine allowed me to pay in NZD instead of FJD and the team interpreted the lower $ value to mean I hadn't paid for the entrees - as if I was somehow magically in charge of the till. Frustrating, and it undermined the entire experience. 1 star service and 5 star food means...
