Had dinner here on Wednesday night. The staff were lovely. The food left a lot to be desired as follows: 1: the rumali rotis were left overs heated in a microwave and sent out. When we informed the staff they argued back that the roti is dry and hard because of the butter they put on it. That’s not really correct, as the next batch which seemed to be freshly made actually was what fresh rumali roti should taste and feel like. 2: the papadum were stale and soft that you could fold them in half. Once again after informing staff we were told it’s because of the wind. So somehow between the kitchen and our table the papadum had so much wind that it went stale 🤥🫤😳. 3: the duck curry was off as it smelt funny and stayed very sour. Once again staff informed and we were told that’s the taste. Once again not true because I can tell the difference between meat that is safe to eat and meat that has gone off. It’s a hit and miss restaurant whereby they charge a premium but the product delivered was not fitting. I understand mistakes are sometimes made but 3 mistakes in the one sitting (and significant mistakes) with staff talking back with poor excuses is not really an experience I appreciate paying top dollar for. I’d be very weary going back and ensuring I check every dish to ensure it’s freshly made and safe to eat. It was disappointing that simple things like roti and papadums seemed to be recycled or microwave heated and sent when they are relatively quick and simple to make fresh. Management in this place needs to really pay attention to the quality control aspect of dishes...
Read moreIt's definitely recommended if you are at Port Denarau, Nadi for good vegetarian & non-vegetarian Indian food. It's my 3rd time here, must to go spot for my family when we visit Fiji on vacation.🇫🇯 We went on a Friday, since my parents & uncle were vegetarian that day they went had Vegetarian Manchurian, Veg Fried Rice, Lilva & Tomato Shaak, Chilli Garlic Paneer. I ordered Chilli Garlic Prawns & Chicken biryani❤️. Food was flavourful and not overly spicy as it's made fresh when you order, plus spicy level is adjusted per your request. Cocktails & Mocktails were refreshing.
Service was a little lacking for us. When we were seated at a 4-person table, table setup had cutlery for 2 people usage. When our food came servers didnt bother to bring extra cutlery & napkins, I had to ask 3 different servers for cutlery & water, which was a little 😑 disappointing, you really needed to get their attention to ask for things.
Overall experience was good, besides the service. Since my dad uses walker for mobility, there is plenty of space for folks with walkers & wheel chair. Hand basin to wash your hands inside the restaurant. Restrooms are big, there's a small step before you enter, just be aware if you need...

Relaxed with pleasant service, a 35-minute wait for fresh Mud Crab cooked in sweet Chili Sauce forewarned, suffice it to say the $98FJD is justified provided one doesn’t mind getting messy while both the Fiji Duck Curry and stretchy Roti are also very good.
