recently dined at Bonefish Restaurant in Fiji and ordered the seafood platter. The food was absolutely beautiful—every single item was cooked to perfection, fresh, and served beautifully. It truly showcased the quality and flavors Fiji is known for, and for that, I was really impressed.

Unfortunately, my experience was overshadowed by poor service from one staff member. While most of the team were welcoming, cheerful, and gave us the warm “Bula” hospitality that Fiji is famous for, one waitress delivered service that left me feeling uncomfortable. She handed me a Coke can with a name written on it which, in the local Fijian dialect, means something offensive. Combined with her attitude, the look she gave me, and her demeanor throughout, it spoiled what had been a wonderful day and a meal worth over $300.

I want to be clear—I was polite and respectful as a visitor to Fiji and to the restaurant, and I don’t believe I did anything to warrant that treatment. It was disappointing, as I had been enjoying myself up until that moment.

Overall, the food and most of the staff were fantastic, but this one negative interaction really took away from the experience. If management addresses this kind of behavior, I think Bonefish could easily be a five-star...

Title: A Culinary Delight at "Bonefish Seafood Restaurant"

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bonefish Seafood Restaurant , a hidden gem nestled in the heart of the city. From the moment I walked in, the warm ambiance and inviting decor set the stage for a memorable culinary experience.

The menu at Bonefish Seafood Restaurant is a testament to creativity and attention to detail. Each dish is a masterpiece, carefully crafted with a perfect balance of flavors and textures. The chef's commitment to using fresh, locally sourced ingredients shines through in every bite

The food was burst of freshness and a perfect introduction to the culinary journey that awaited me. For the main course, I opted for the pan-seared fish, which was expertly cooked to perfection. The accompanying lemon beurre blanc sauce added a zesty touch that elevated the dish to a whole new level.

The service at Bonefish Seafood Restaurant was impeccable. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and passionate about the menu. They provided excellent recommendations and ensured that every aspect of my dining experience was top-notch

Last but not least I would like to mention namely Mr. Apurv for being a great host will definitely visit the...

We went as a group of 9 last night for dinner because we love seafood, but unfortunately, the experience was awful. It took nearly 2 hours for the food to arrive, and when it did, the reef fish was dry, and the bonefish seafood platter was underwhelming. The calamari was bland and just deep-fried, along with a few other things. while the crab came without a cracker, picking fork, or even a water bowl to clean our hands. The salad tasted like it had been contaminated with Dettol or some kind of chemical—absolutely horrible, we all had a taste to confirm this.

Despite having plenty of staff roaming around, the service was terrible. Every time we asked for assistance, they had to go searching for a specific person to help us, even though there were plenty of staff available, just standing around chatting or watching.

I'm not one to leave harsh reviews—usually, I'm generous and provide positive feedback. But this was extremely disappointing and by far my worst seafood dining experience out of many we've had.

Ps; we also saw a few tables complaining, it wasn't just us.

I would not recommend eating here again for dinner. Go to Sails, another seafood restaurant in the area. It's so much...

On my second recent visit to Fiji I made sure to come here for my first meal of the trip. I wanted to try this restaurant for a while now and was so glad I got to try out this place last week. We had the masala fish, the seafood platter with mudcrab and ended off with the passion fruit crème brûlée. The food was delicious and honestly, tasted very fresh. We really enjoyed our meal. The drinks were also very reasonably priced - we had a variety of beers, wines, and teas. What bothered me was the service - when we first asked for a table we were directed to the back of the restaurant, away from the waterfront and majority of patrons. We asked to be relocated so that we could enjoy our experience. Once relocated I found that our server seemed to be annoyed with our questions about the menu - we asked her to provide some direction and recommendations and seemed annoyed to be helping us. Service like this really does detract from a patrons experience and servers should be more knowledgeable on providing advice on menu selections. Other than that we had a great experience - I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and look forward to coming back in the future.

A nice family seafood restaurant tucked in the back of the Denarau Marina shopping center. Once you’re seated all you see is harbor views, so you wouldn’t know you’re eating at a mall. We had the mud crab, Bonefish Grill, and a passionfruit crème brûlée. My dining partner also had a virgin margarita and liked it enough to order a second. I’d never heard of “mud crab” and wasn’t optimistic, but the thing that came was more like a pair of lobster claws than the icky monster I was picturing from the name. Very tasty meat. The mixed grill was also nice, featuring seasoned walu fish - very firm and not especially fishy - as well as some very zesty prawns. The brûlée was nice, a tangy version that I haven’t had at home, but not very large. This was our most expensive meal in Fiji. The mud crab was about half of the bill, so if you don’t desperately want to try it, the cost can be more reasonable. Our server Lolohea was attentive and pleasant, and the restaurant was otherwise attractive and well-furnished. Try to go around or after sunset - the marina is a bit torrid during mid-afternoon, but gets really nice as things cool off and get breezy.
