Nuku is the only restaurant & bar at Hilton that opens from early morning to late night. It’s surrounded by the magnificent pool and beach views of Denarau Fiji. Choice of 3 dining atmosphere experience: inside restaurant, on the deck overlooking Denarau beach or poolside. For buffet breakfast if included in your stay contains a good selection of food plus section for Fijian food. For coffee you can get a free barista coffee if you’re a Hilton diamond member or coffee from the drinks section. My honest opinion the coffee isn’t great, it’s watery and milky. The menu for lunch and dinner is pretty good though and we enjoyed poolside lunch as well as dining on the deck at night and watching the sunset, sipping on cocktails and enjoying live music. My recommendation for lunch would be pizza’s and salads. Dinner seafood platter, pork ribs and salad. Cocktails are great too, but if you have a free voucher they tend to put less alcohol which taste more like a mocktail. Service is excellent and all staff members are friendly to everyone and they love especially kids. One thing to mention about kava time on Saturday and Tuesday nights, for hygiene if you’re not comfortable sharing a cup with others I do not recommend trying it because after all there is still Covid around the world, just be safe. Also on these two nights they have a Fijian dance which is worth watching. The two most common words you need to familiarise in Fiji are ‘Bula’ meaning hello and ‘Vinaka’ meaning thank you....

Specifically talking about dinner only: This was the most disappointing of the restaurants at the Hilton, in our particular experience.

The cocktails we started with were quite nice, but the water we asked for when we ordered them (and again when our meals were delivered) never came. The curry main we ordered was quite large for a single menu item, but it was disappointingly bland - not really good enough for such an expensive order. The cauliflower starter with its spinach relish was fantastic though. My main gripe was the service. Nobody ever came to ask if we wanted more drinks (which we did), as mentioned above the water we asked for was never provided, and at the end we were stung with a public holiday surcharge that was never explained to us. Having only arrived in the country that afternoon, maybe it was on us for not knowing but there was nothing anywhere at the restaurant to say this would be the case, nor were we advised by anyone there either. We might have tried a cheaper place instead, and I actually wish we had. The only reason I'm not giving this 2 stars is because that cauliflower dish was really nice. It was quite a let...

Exceptional Breakfast Experience at Nuku Restaurant

Our mornings at Nuku Restaurant, nestled within the Hilton Resort Fiji, were truly unforgettable. The breakfast buffet was a highlight of our stay—an impressive spread that catered to every palate. From fresh tropical fruits to an array of hot dishes and delightful pastries, each day offered something new and delicious.

The atmosphere at Nuku is both relaxing and inviting, making it the perfect place to start the day. What made our experience even more special were the amazing staff members, Wati and Sikeile. Their warmth and kindness added a personal touch to our meals, ensuring we felt well cared for every morning. Their attentive service made us feel like family, which is something we’ll always cherish.

Nuku is more than just a restaurant; it’s a place where the flavors of Fiji come to life, and the staff’s hospitality makes it feel like home. We highly recommend experiencing breakfast here—it's an essential part of the Hilton...

Nuku Restaurant and Bar truly stole the spotlight during our one-week vacation at the Hilton Beach Resort in Denarau, Fiji. The ambiance, the lively atmosphere, and the memorable moments were all found here. Here are a few key points: The breakfast buffet is a must-try, although the service could use some improvement. The prices are on the higher side, but the drinks are undeniably delicious. The food for both dinner and lunch was outstanding, and the buffet choices were a highlight. All in all, our trip was made exceptional thanks to Nuku Restaurant. The food was absolutely fantastic, and the live music was a bonus. The only thing I wished for was more entertainment options.
