I really wish the local cafe was better. The first problem comes if you try to actually sit there for your coffee or meal. The place itself is quite nice and cozy, but the ambiance is ruined by a giant, obviously defective soda fridge in the main space. It sounds like a broken lawnmower is in the room and is quite unpleasant. I understand it is probably expensive to replace but this has been going on for years.
My second gripe is with the sandwiches. They are gas station quality, with vegetarians paying the same for a sandwich with the meat removed. Forget avocado, hummus a nice sauce or anything. Its just bread, cheese, lettuce and a pickle if you're lucky.

   Read moreTraditional café a bit of the beaten track, a real Konditori. As I sit sipping my coffee and eating an applebun, the locals pop in for a bread, a sandwich, or a korvapusti on the go. I even see the local shopkeepers getting their breakfast before opening their shops.
Only a couple of tables inside and the same outside, but everything is cosy and genuine. I even got a visit from a "local" who wanted to make a quality check of the bread đ And yes, I washed and sanitised my hand afterwards đ
