Stumbled across this gem. Initially attracting us with its atmosphere, gentle charm and calm, quiet sophistication. From the moment we stepped in, Carita greeted us with a warm friendly welcome; we also somehow ended up exclusively dining with the restaurant pretty much to ourselves. The menu is kept simple with the choice of a handful of spectacular dishes. Being our first night in Finland we wanted to try a couple of truly Finnish things which Carita helped with recommendations. Once served, the food looked like Michelin star food (without the Michelin star prices), of the highest quality presentation - and it tasted excellent too! From the unassuming exterior to the building - we didn’t expect the food and service to be quite as sensational as it was! Absolutely blown away! And when we return to Helsinki for another holiday, we’ll absolutely be seeking out to dine here again. We actually enjoyed every single second of our experience that we were sad to leave. Thank you so much to Carita and the chef working, you truly made the best...

Best burger I've had in my life. I came here 2 years later to write this because it's stuck in my mind. Ever single burger since then has been compared, and not a single one was half as good as the godly burger I had on Oct 19th 2021.

I don't know if the stars aligned and chef got lucky, or if it's something that is repeatable. It doesn't matter. It was the perfect hamburger. I literally cried when I took a bite. I stopped everything I was doing and enjoyed each bite carefully because I knew from that moment on I was ruined.

My friends are sick of me talking about it. If I wasn't shy I'd have asked the chef for the recipe.

The sauce was outstanding. The meat was incredibly juicy and flavourful, the bun was soft while also being crispy and buttery. They didn't overwhelm it with too much lettuce, tomato, and onion.

Thank you for this memorable experience. I pray I can find this level of pleasure from a meal again in my life.

Oltiin isolla porukalla (20hlö) pöytä oli katettu nätisti. Menut tuotiin pian pöytään alku skumppien kera.

olisi voinut olla ainakin 2 asiakaspalvelijaa ottamassa esimerkiksi tilauksia vedet olisi voitu kaataa myös valmiiksi ;) vanhemmat seurueen ihmiset vähän ihmettelivät asiakaspalvelija olisi voinut olla hieman reippaammin esillä, toivottaa hyvää ruokahalua jne. laskutus oma-aloitteisesti, muistakaa muistuttaa omistajakortin käytöstä, vanhemmat ihmiset eivät sitä itse aina muista joissain annoksissa oli ihan liikaa suolaa , sekä esillepanossa oltaisiin voitu hieman panostaa.

mukava rauhallinen paikka siistit vessat ruuat tulivat samaan aikaan muiden kanssa ruokia ja juomia suositeltiin, sekä kerrottiin myös hyvin mitä ruoat sisältävät hinta/laatu suhde erittäin hyvä juhlapöytä oli katettu todella kivasti

Muistakaa myös kysellä vähän oma-aloitteisesti miltä ruoka maistui ja pyytää palautetta. Siitä tulee asiakkaille semmoinen olo, että välittätte asiakkaan mielipiteestä!

En suosittele välttämättä ehkä ruuan puolesta jos haluaa oikeasti "juhlavaa" illallista, mutta tunnelman sekä paikan puolesta kyllä. Ja sopii erinomaisesti isollekin köörille... ja niinkuin aiemmin mainitsin, niin hinta/laatusuhde oli...
