When we arrived in Helsinki from North America, jet-lagged and ready to explore, we were missing that warm, welcoming touch that so often defines a great experience. What better place to find it than an Iranian restaurant in the heart of this European city? Hani Cafe’chi turned out to be exactly what we needed. From the moment we walked in, we could tell this place was loved by both locals and travelers alike, and respected by its community. The reviews spoke for themselves, so we decided to stop in for brunch, and wow—this place did not disappoint.

First off, the food was absolutely delicious, prepared right in front of us in an open kitchen, with reasonable prices that made it feel like a hidden gem. The owner, a very special gentleman, welcomed us warmly and instantly made us feel at home. He recognized we were travelers, encouraged us to try a few of his recommended dishes, and even offered us a drink on the house to make us feel truly welcome. The warmth and generosity were like a breath of fresh air, something we hadn’t experienced in a while.

But the food… oh my gosh. It was amazing. The owner suggested things we wouldn’t have tried at home, and we’re so glad he did. Everything was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The interior decor was beautiful, and the space felt so welcoming and cozy. The owner never rushed us, allowing us to enjoy the experience at our own pace, and it was clear that he genuinely cares about his customers. The cakes were delicious, and the teas? Even better!

It’s easy to see why this place consistently earns 5-star reviews. The dedication, the consistency, and the constant drive to improve are all evident in every part of this experience. We were so impressed that, after our first visit, we made sure to come back before we left Helsinki.

If you're in Helsinki, do yourself a favor and stop by Hani Cafe’chi. Don’t be shy—let the owner surprise you with his recommendations, and enjoy this little slice of luxury at such reasonable prices. I’ll definitely be back if I’m ever in the city...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a delightful Iranian restaurant that stands out for its cozy ambiance and commitment to healthy cuisine. Run by a lovely couple, the restaurant exudes a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home from the moment you walk in.

The menu is thoughtfully curated, featuring a variety of healthy options that do not compromise on flavor. Each dish is prepared with fresh ingredients, offering a true taste of authentic Iranian cuisine. I was particularly impressed by the variety of vegetarian and gluten-free choices available, ensuring there's something for everyone.

In addition to the delicious food, the restaurant is reasonably priced, making it an excellent choice for both casual meals and special occasions. The charming decor and intimate setting add to the overall experience, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed dinner or a cozy lunch date.

Overall, this Iranian restaurant is a hidden gem that I highly recommend. Whether you're a health-conscious eater or simply looking to enjoy a hearty meal in a pleasant environment, this place is...

I visited Hani Cafe'chi for Sunday brunch with my parents. It was an amazing experience - not only are there plenty of options for both appetizers, side dishes and mains for everyone (including many vegan dishes) but all of the food was absolutely delicious. It’s impossible to pick a favourite from what we ate and it's unfortunate that we forgot to take photos of the dishes. We finished the brunch with a slice of tasty carrot cake, which was big and filling as well as pistachio and saffron ice cream, which was delicious and unlike anything I had tasted before. There is a good selection of cakes in general and the tea that is served is freshly made. The service was also very warm, friendly and attentive. I definitely recommend this place not only to those interested in homemade Iranian cuisine but everyone simply looking for a great food experience. We would definitely go back to taste the rest of...

Tehran in heart of Helsinki 🥂❤️ Quality and taste of saffron and pistachio cake was magical and fresh as well. Persian tea was awesome :) ☕️ Update September 2025 : This cake has always been magical, so fresh and delicious that I often recommended it to others. That’s why I brought my guests here this time. But unfortunately, the cake we got was stale, and I even tasted spoiled cream in one part. It was embarrassing in front of my guests. I gave feedback, but the staff said it was only because they changed the flour. Staleness is not about flour!! and I was very disappointed! that they didn’t replace the cake or try to make up for it. I kindly ask Honey Cafe not to repeat this and to take customer feedback seriously. Accepting it and apologizing instead of making excuses. 🙂 Tea was nice like every time. ☕️
