What a lovely place! We came this restaurant based on google.maps review and it was a great experience! Food was amazing! Go for 4 cheese burger - soo yummy! Owners were so friendly - made us so welcomed. Felt so comfortable there like dinning in a place I knew the owners for long time. I need to admit it is my favorite spot for now to eat and have a friendly conversation with locals ( and learn a few Finnish words :):) well recommended

Olimme tulleet vaimoni kanssa Turkuun katsomaan Samppalinnan kesäteatterin esitystä. Ravintola Aune oli yksi harvoista, jonka keittiö oli vielä auki myöhään kesäisenä arki-iltana. Pizzaa ym. saisi kyllä jostain muualta, mutta täältä sai kunnon illallisen. Hinnat kohtuulliset verrattuna Turun yleiseen hintatasoon. Mutta parasta oli se palvelu ja ystävällisyys jota saimme siellä. Vaimolla oli nilkka hiukan nyrjähtänyt ja heti tarjottiin jäitä siihen. Pääasia on kuitenkin se, että ruoka oli todella hyvää. Alkuruokana grillattu vuohenjuusto ja lakkahillo oli vaimoni mukaan taivaallista. Erityisesti Aunen yön yli kypsytetty härkä oli todella mureeta, josta vaimoni nautti, ja se kastike siinä oli todella hyvää. Itse otin kolmen juuston burgerin , joka ei jättänyt arvailujen varaan juuston määrästä. Itse siis pidän juustosta. Annoksen koot olivat riittävät , ellei jopa isot (syöjän koosta/nälkäisyydestä) riippuen. Meille kyllä riitti hyvin. Tulin itse siihen johtopäätökseen, että, jos arki-iltana myöhään haluaa syödä Turun keskustassa hyvin, niin sitten Auneen. Kiitokset vielä kerran! P.S. Kannattaa käydä sisätiloissa katsomassa valokuvia; talossa on oma historiansa.

Excellent food. The starter shrimp were wonderful. "Fish sticks" were an interesting Finnish take on fish n' chips. The salad was actually filling and done with quality ingredients! Loved the cloudberry desert. Drink menu was typical; the thing here is food. Bonus points for fun rock soundtrack on the background instead of some boring elevator music or AI generated crap.

We reserved a table for six. We were seated in the back room, near the toilet. The smell in the room was so strong and so disgusting, that we had to leave in a few minutes, before placing an order. The waiter said that it was not the toilet smell, but something related to the ventilation system, and that they cannot fix it. Sorry, but if it smells like this, it is better not to use that room, until it is fixed. For now, one star, and not sure will ever want to try this...

We recently had dinner at Aune's, and it was a wonderful dining experience. I had the Halloumi salad; perfect presentation with tender baby lettuces, cherry tomatoes, and three slices of fried cheese, drizzled with a balsamic vinaigrette. It was excellent with a glass of fine chardonnay. My husband had the three cheese burger and fries with a perfectly blended aioli. I sampled the fries dipped in aioli...to die for! We highly...
