We had a reservation on the 10th of June at 19h. So where do I begin with this awful experience.. We arrived at 18:45, we went to the waitress to ask if it was possible to have a seat at a table, and have a drink meanwhile. The waitress told us that we could not sit at a table, because it wasn't 19:00. Those were orders of her boss. Okay ... we thought already "this is really strange". We walked a little bit further and we were waiting close to the entrance. Meanwhile other people were arriving before the "opening" of 19:00 o'clock. Atleast 20 people arrived ready to be "served" in a line (too bad I did't take pictures). The doors went open and everyone was starting to go inside like cattle, eventough we were there one of the first. We didn't want to go inside because it was crazy how everyone rushed inside. We had a reservation so we just choose a table to sit and wait. 1min later the "boss" came to us with 2 other people and he said we had to move at a very unfriendly tone. Even the 2 clients that he "served" were attacking us 'go away, blablablabla', crazy situation! Just because we were seated on that spot. I told the boss: 'we had a reservation so why can we not sit here?' , but the only thing he said, was 'you have to sit somewhere else at a very aggressive tone". We were already pissed off, because we were threathed like cattle in the beginning (waiting with more then 20 people) and in advance we were addressed like animals by the boss. So we stood up and said to him we are not animals but people. This was disgusting how they/he treated us and also other to other customers. We would have gotten another table, but we just walked away. There were also other people saying we were right and they also left. We had money to spend and we have spent it somewhere else. We will never go back to that location. The name "restaurant" is not worthy. If you think about it, more then 20 people where seated at the same time, so if you think about it... everyone ordering drinks and food at the same time, how would the bar and kitchen hold up to all those orders? I think the kitchen must be dirty and the foods not fresh and alot of microwave. They really should be ashamed. I give you 1 good tip, do not set one step at this place.

Also when we walked by 3 hours later, whole the crew was drinking alcohol at one table....

A group of us dined at Le Sardaigne on a Sunday night. We didn’t ensure a reservation for the night so we had to walk around the whole town and were being turned away as all restaurants were fully booked. Luckily here we were offered a table inside which we happily accepted. The food was mediocre. My Gorgonzola pasta was more reminiscent of macaroni cheese off the kids menu: soft pasta smothered in butter, no sign of Gorgonzola in there, very bland. Must say I somewhat enjoyed still. Took me down the memory lane to the times I made this dish for myself aged 10. Pizza looked a bit said although my friend said she quite liked it. Another friend had sirloin steak and it was very dry. At the same time the side of grilled veggies was delicious and the beef tartar was good. The service was the bright spot. Super friendly and efficient. We felt very welcome and members of the waiting team took very good care of us during our visit. All in all it is a typical tourist casual dining spot so if you are not too fussy about food come on...

Good service in the beginning with the young man outside seating us very quickly and nicely. We had 2 young kids with us and there was only pasta carbonara for kids on the menu. When we asked if we could have a simple pasta with tomato sauce for them, they told us NO (without any consideration, despite the fact that there were dishes with tomato sauce on the menu - how hard is it for an Italian restaurant to make a simple pasta with tomato sauce!?). Then the waitress stood by us staring (rushing) while we finished our meals, weirding out our son. The cannelloni had almost no pasta in it, just a super rich meat and cheese sauce that was impossible to finish. Not really recommended, but if you must come, then maybe try a pizza or salad.

Disappointing night; booked a table for 4 and started ok. Ordered the tempura seafood sharing plate which turned out to be a lot of deep fried carrots and a couple of random bits of “fish”. Genuinely the most basic and disappointing starter you’ll see, almost like someone did a freezer amnesty. For mains, was torn between the pizza and the steak. The steak won as the pizza chef spent most of the night sneezing and wiping his nose before handling countless pizzas. The steak was put in the pizza oven and then left on the side, soon to be accompanied by a bucket of dirty water whilst the hygenic chef continued to wash the kitchen tops. Needless to say, we passed on the meal and made a swift exit.
