China Express - Restaurant et traiteur asiatique — Restaurant in Aix-en-Provence

I have very few memories of restaurants from my childhood. And most of the restaurants where I used to eat with my family as a child are now closed or have new owners. 😢 Well, pretty much all of them, actually, except... China Express. It's a fast food restaurant that serves "Chinese" food (Chinese food in France usually means Vietnamese food), where you can see a lot of Asian specialties (cause now they even offer 🍣) displayed in a huge fridge and pick what you wanna eat. Everything is already cooked (yes, it's a fast food restaurant) and they can reheat the food for you or you can take it away cold to eat at home. But despite the fact that the food is pre prepared, the quality is quite high, especially when you take into account that you can eat for a few €... Last time we went, we took it away and ate a lot (there actually was too much food) for less than €10 (no drinks, no desserts). And we got to try many combinations: fried 🍚, Thai 🍚 (not sure there's anything that's Thai in it 🤔 but that still is my favorite 😍), 🐷 in caramel sauce, 🐔 with mushrooms, noodles, nems, spring rolls... even sushi because my son insisted (no comment 🤷‍♂️)... And, honestly, the food is as good as in a regular restaurant and the quality always is (and always has been) the same. OK, you don't get the fancy restaurant experience but you get to eat good food for a few €, and that's great for lunch or when you're in a hurry.... and, most of all, that's definitely worth it when you order to go (who cares about the atmosphere when you end up eating at home?!). It’s a nice place to have variety of Asian food. Ambience is nice, ample space of sitting and helping staff. It is located just next to the round about as one enters into plan de campagne from autoroute coming from Aix en Provence. Quite visible from autoroute. Spacious parking area surrounds the restaurant. I visit the place most often specially for its chicken, riz maison, and stuffed crab. One of the orange gravy fish is a good choice as well. You may find a lot of fires starters, sushi, salads, gravy dishes, noodles, rices and many desserts as well. Adjacent to this restaurant, there’s a Asian market shop as well. There one could find most of the Asian products including the vegetables. The preferable time to visit this is during lunch and dinner hours I...
