First of all, food looked decent.
Management of the place is whole different story. Waited 45 minutes to place our order and left without anything to drink or to eat.
We arrived without reservation but had been told that a table would be available soon. The table was indeed ready 20min. later with an excuse because they forgot us. Nothing to write home about that, this can happen.
We should write down our order even though we already know what to eat and drink due to the 20 min. wait.
Our order was than not taken for another 25 min. I even got hold on one of the staff and he only told me that we had been misplaced and that he would be back in „2 seconds“.... guess what...
After the total wait was 45min. I went to the counter and asked both of the waiters who passed our table several times in the meantime if we should wait any longer or if they just don’t care and it is better to leave to go somewhere else.... there were a lot of excuses and shifting the responsibility from one to the other but no real understanding of the whole situation so we decided to leave.
The management of the whole situation was as bad as I never experienced it in a restaurant before. I mean come on what is the matter with telling me you made a mistake by putting us at a table that was not supposed for us and let us sit there for 25 min., this is nothing a customer should know about. If you are in hospitality find a solution! Especially when you are confronted by an unsatisfied customer and don’t only answer „be patient as the other table with the same mistake is“ or „you can wait and order or you can leave“ because that is...
Read moreI visited as a party of 1 person the day before and arrived around 2:16 (they close at 2:30 before real-opening later. I wasn’t greeted and the one staff member visible decided to attend another table, close out checks and clean tables from previous patrons while ignoring me so around 2:20 I decided to approach the counter and was told it was too late to dine (with 40 minutes remaining before closing) so I left. I returned the next day, I ordered 4 empanadas. Pollo, spicy beef, vegetarian and the ham with cheese. Mediocre tasting empanadas. Two were burnt on the outside so I removed most of the pastry. These are not traditional baked Argentinian empanadas and I found the spices/seasoning to be underwhelming. I’ve had much better Argentinian empanadas (with a larger selection of fillings) in Barcelona and on the beach in Brazil from street venders. The Sauvignon blanc was very good and the highlight of my dining experience. Service from the waiter was actually very nice for a European setting (though the wait for the empanadas was fairly long) so I did tip the minimum amount 10%, which was automatically prompted after paying with card (first time seeing this in-person). 20 euros for two glasses of wine and 4 empanadas (2 overcooked) I found was overpriced. The chimicuri sauce was a nice addition and did help boost the flavor, but not...
