Le Café Courchevel — Restaurant in Albertville

Awful service we waited 1 hour for drinks after asking the waiter 3 times for them. The place is way too small, not comfortable, you are getting pushed around while eating because people are dancing or passing (not their fault the place is just tiny). The music is way to loud too early into the night. You can’t speak to anybody while having dinner, you need to shout. The waiter had the audacity to ask me for a tip after forgetting our orders many times and not being present. I had a birthday which I mentioned to them, they didn’t do anything for me but they did for another table. The food was decent but the portions were small. Prices are reasonable compared to other restaurants nearby. In general the place has potential to be great but it’s too chaotic at the moment and lacks proper organisation...

We had a good girls night with cocktails, the welcoming girl was super nice through the whole night, the lady at the bar was really amazing also. The band sing really well & the atmosphere was great. The girl that was cashing us in the end was horrible! It’s so sad that someone like this can destroy your whole mood and only because we wanted to split the bill and my card didn’t go through the first time, because I had to insert it and not tap it. I guess she didn’t know that one of us speaks French and she said to the colleague that „it’s going to take an hour“. You are working in service girl, please do your job. Really really...

Produits périmés!!! Une honte, nous cherchions un endroit pour déguster une fondue. Nous avons choisi cet endroit parce qu il est nouveau sur Courchevel et souhaitions le découvrir.. Nous commandons notre fondue pour nous et notre fils. 100 euros la fondue , pas donné mais le cadre est agréable...Nous servons en priorité notre fils en profitant de notre tres bon vin..Au bout de quelques bouchées notre fils nous dit que le pain est trop dur et qu il a un mauvais goût...l endroit est sombre (tamisé) et mon mari allume la torche de son téléphone pour inspecter le pain...Catastrophe! Tout le pain de toute la corbeille est moisi! Pique de partout de grosses tacles bleues! Mon.mari est furieux et appelle poliment le serveur, lui pose quelques bouts de pains dans la main et lui demande d avertir le directeur quii est à l entrée, à quelques mètres... le directeur fait mine de ne pas nous voir ...nous attendons...une seconde seveuse passe pour comprendre pourquoi nous ne mangeons pas...nous lui expliquons la situation ..elle est scandalisée et va directement voir le même directeur, qui ne bouge toujours pas...20 mn plus tard enfin une corbeille de pain tendre ,frais et doré nous est servie. Le directeur passe royalement devant une dizaine de fois sans un.regard...Nous écoutons notre dîner après la fondue qui nous sera finalement offerte..Cela ne change rien au fait que nous rentrons avec l idée que notre fils est peut être intoxiqué...Le restaurant est ouvert depuis seulement 2 mois! On imagine bien le reste!! Points forts belle décoration et gentils serveurs, points faibles un management en dessous de tout et une chanteuse...
