Food quality is hit and miss... There were 2 of us having the same dish, the filet mignon, mashed potatoes and the gorgonzola sauce. Whilst my dish was very good and the cut of meat good quality and well cooked (I had it medium), the other person having the exact same dish was not so lucky 😀...His medium steak came out blue( for those unfamiliar, that is British for very rare). We sent it back...and guess what...it came back the same...Blue....We told the waiter and he again took it back and now they really killed it:)).... same piece of meat and very well done. Now, Chef, if you get it wrong the first time, be mindful not to do it again! And, if it's a steak that's not been cooked properly and already tried by the customer, you don't serve him the same piece of meat 3 times in a row. You cook a new steak to the client's specification. This shows complete disregard and disrespect to your clients! You do a 4 out of 5 dish for me, and you then completely mess up the same dish for another person at the same table. Not...

I was in Paris for a business meeting and stayed in hotel Charlemagne. This restaurant caught my eye as it is across the street from the restaurant. It is located was outside the Hotel Charlemagne. I took a picture from my balcony. To me it looked like a neighbourhood pub because people liked to hang out here. Very friendly staff (with a big smile) and good food that was served quickly. Great wine as well, pinot noir. I will come back and make them my friends. Tip: entrecôte. Like: no pressure, very relaxed place and nice - not loud - jazzy background music. I will definitely come...

Just had a week in Paris and stayed just around the corner from this bar. Visited three times and had food on two of those occasions. Easy place too like... great food, friendly staff, great atmosphere. You would never know there was a main road nearby as it's on a side street with a couple of other bars and bistros and a nice Italian restaurant opposite. A lovely place to suit back with a cold beer and relax. Will definitely visit again...
