cozy little coffee and refreshing drink place; undoubtedly assumed to get good espresso so i ordered a double shot. not sure if the young guy that made our espresso was just covering for the real barista of the place because an older person came in behind the counter and started working on the next people’s order after us. our espresso was the most SOUR i have ever had in our whole France espresso experience. so if others are giving this place a 5; i’d say it’s a hit or miss and we just happened to chance the “miss”. if you’re willing to take that chance on your espresso; goodluck to...

Wow! We are coffee aficionados and I can honestly say this was the best coffee of our entire European tour.

Three extremely good-looking, friendly and talented baristas made us some amazing flat whites. We even bought two of their cute little artisan-crafted coffee cups made by the owner’s cousin.

Une expérience déplorable, indigne d’un établissement se revendiquant « coffee shop ».

Dès l’arrivée : aucun bonjour, aucune attention. L’espace est exigu, mal agencé, et les clients seuls monopolisent des tables entières sans intervention du personnel ou de la direction.

Mais le plus choquant reste le service. Un accident avec un client et tout mon iced latte se renverse sur moi. Réaction du gérant ? Nettoyer immédiatement la table et le sol, sans un mot pour moi. Aucune excuse, aucune aide. J’ai dû moi-même demander des serviettes pour m’essuyer. Quelle honte.

Et quel « geste commercial » ? Une minuscule tasse contenant un quart de la boisson initiale. Presque insultant.

À l’évidence, ni les gérants ni la clientèle ne sont de la région, sans ancrage local ni connaissance de l’accueil basque. Même à Paris (pourtant réputé pour son service approximatif) je n’ai jamais été aussi mal reçue.
