We visited this restaurant for lunch as a group of five friends. When we approached the restaurant, our first question was about AC given the temperature outside, 32 C. We received a positive response and happily entered the place. Above a few tables we noticed big fans, and it felt fine in these areas. But we were demanded to take just one specific table ("because this is the only one for five") next to the bar with no fans above it. A few minutes later I literally started suffocating, as I have a health condition which doesn't allow me to be in a hot space. But fortunately, as we thought, we noticed a couple of big AC units above the bar and asked the manager to start them. Here comes the "best part" of our experience in this place. The manager said, No. We asked, why, and he, in a very rude way, said that "he was not prepared to spend money on electricity just because of us". No reasons that "just we" are customers helped, and no AC was ever switched. The manager was not only rude but also loud, so at least half of his very young staff heard it all. Until we finished the meal, he never apologized, never offered to move us to another table with the fan although it remained vacant during 80 minutes that we spent there. In my long enough life I have never been treated like this in a public place which is supposed to provide service. This is absolutely unacceptable and I would ask the administration of the restaurant to respond to this accordingly.
To be fair, our waitress Nancy was polite and efficient enough, and it felt she was embarassed with what was happening but of course, she never said anything ... against the boss. What a shame to have such a manager.
The food was tasty and well cooked. The only problem was a very long waiitng time betweek the starters and the main course. The drinks were also nicely done. But our mood was spoiled for the rest...
Read moreTOURIST TRAP - You pay for the view! Horrible food, the drinks are warm, and very rude hostess. I would give less stars but google doesn't let me. The fish my uncle and husband ordered tasted real bad. Like if it had been frozen/defrosted several times. And I could not eat mine because it was raw (salmon). But it was not supposed to be raw. It was not written in the menu and nobody said that to me when I ordered it. (It was not "tartare" either). I did return the raw salmon after a very long discussion with the rude hostess. When the salmon came back, it was still raw. They promised to cook it, this time in the oven. But we had run out of time. We were there for a very long time. We still had to pay for it. I'm not sure what was worst, the fact that I wasted my time and my money or the attitude of the hostess! The way she "explained" to me that the salmon was not raw, and the way she talked to my uncle (who is a senior citizen) when we arrived were outrageous. What a bad experience. Nourriture néfaste, boisons chaudes, hôtesse odieuse. C'est pour...
Read moreVery disappointed… I had quite a bad experience from start to finish. Table not ready at arrival, floor staff unqualified and totally overwhelmed, cocktails weren’t served at the same time and the waitress didn’t even know what she was running. The fish was sold out but wasn’t mentioned by the waiter, we had to order it for him to come back and ask us to change our order. The artichaut wasn’t cooked, the carpaccio got brought to our table with a bit of food from another dish (a spoon must have fell onto it and nobody noticed) and the worst thing was the arrogance of the Head Waiter who grounded us for sending back dishes that weren’t cooked with an agressive comment « the kitchen is overwhelmed » as if it was our fault that the service was an absolute mess. At the end of the day we just laughed about all this and sworn to...
