The restuarant is at the fringe of Beaune and a quite decent walk from the town center. The staff asked for our reservation and we were shown to the table.
Our table was in a lovely terrace outside the main restuarant. The main restuarant decor is simple with influences from nordic countries. It seems that the French always find every reason to dine outdoor.
The food is classic burgundy dishes with progressive twist. Charolais beefs with 3 vaiations such as Tarragon mustard, sorbert tartare and black curry tataki.
Frog with sweetbread in a reduced mushroom cream. The chef is particularly good at brining the buttery milky taste in this dishes.
Generally, the taste are elegantly straightforward. Not much twist to the layering of taste. The depth of taste was commendable. The reduction of the sauce and the foam was meticulously done especially the pinot noir vinegarette sauce.
The cheese plate include the burgundy amazingly creamy brillat-serverin chesse.

No flavors and the insolence comes with the full price from 36⏠on our bill. After a heated, long and very unfriendly discussion with the chef himself, the 36⏠were taken off the bill.
No go in criticism management! Sorry, but I would not recommend such a restaurant to anyone! The restaurant want be a high Level one, but it is really far away from a high level class.
There are many other points, what we don" t have commented because i am sure, nobody cares! You cannot lock the ladies toilet, you get dirty napkins...
