After spending two nights at Ayawasca I would be remiss not to write a review about our experience.
It is important to note that the establishment itself is warm and inviting, clean, well designed, well stocked, plays incredible music, and most importantly makes incredible cocktails.
What is not outwardly apparent when noting all of these things is that above all else, the staff is warm, inviting, knowledgeable, talented and passionate about what they do.
Most notable is Hugo; an incredible bartender (wet chef) that speaks French, English, y espanol. His suggestions are as welcomed as his smile and his cocktails would make any reasonable individual take a moment to consider what they previously considered premium. His warm demeanor and inviting smile resulted in numerous cocktails, each better than the last.
In a city with so many options, Ayawasca shines. Cancel all other plans and head in for a cocktail experience rivaled by no others in Bordeaux. We hope you enjoy the entire team and their drinks as much as we did.
