Brunch place in Bordeaux 🥐🤩 One of the best places to get brunch on a Sunday in Bordeaux is Books & Coffee. Their food is good, the coffee is great and the pastries are delicious 😋 💡Tip: Get there early to get a table! #brunchtok #bordeaux #brunchbordeaux #wheretoeatbordeaux #bordeauxrestaurant #bordeauxfood #toursinbordeaux #walkingtoursinbordeaux #explorebordeaux

A review meant for those seeking good coffee ( some information can be extracted from this commentary about other stuff) The place is nice Actually it is too big to be a coffee shop, I don’t think I ever made this comment about a coffee shop “ too big for a coffee shop and too crowded” I think the reason is because they offer so much more than coffee, breakfast , brunch and lots of types of tea. I ordered a latte and a cookie. The cookie was standard, nothing special , reminds me of any classical cookie. The coffee, is not acidic actually very alkaline and soft. Suitable to be consumed for an afternoon coffee not an the early morning. The barista is talented with her drawings on the coffee, a nice touch. In general I rank the coffee 7/10 which is disappointing especially that they have their own coffee roaster shop. It is not the best coffee shop in Bordeaux , however it is definitely worth visiting.

Great breakfast here and great coffee. I think Bordeaux is the only place in France where I have had good coffee, and this place was very good. Ordered possibly the biggest item on the menu, which was a 'formula' breakfast that had a lot of dishes. So didn't need to eat until dinner after this feast! Very good food, very good service and a lovely spot that was away from the crowds. Only one area that could be improved: The dishes all came out within a few minutes of one another, which left very little room on the table for everything and the hot plates (eggs) going cold, unless you stopped eating one dish and started on the eggs. A very minor issue, but holding back the hot dishes for five minutes would easily solve this problem.

Pastries was good. But the one thing which we didn’t really liked is: we saw 2 free tables outside, the guy who met us by the doors said that it is available only if we will order lunch. Okay we went inside to buy sweets to take it away. Lady on the till was surprised that we can’t take a seat, and after the chat with that guy she said that those tables reserved for another customers. It was strange and not good approach. We made good bill for them, and it turned that we were sitting inside, what I didn’t really wanted. So I put 3 stars for that curly guy. But bakery was really good.

I thought this place looked like a tourist trap, and so I was a little reluctant to sit down at a table, but we needed a little break and to use the restroom, so we decided to stop. The service was amazing, with our waitress making hokes and having fun... the Kouign-amann was so delicious, and the mocha is probably the best one I've ever had (that my wife didn't make for me. She thought it was even better than the ones she's made for me). I hope we have enough time to go back here before we leave Bordeaux, because it's absolutely worth multiple visits.

Smiling and positive staff, nice atmosphere, but average food. The cafe’s located on my favorite street in Bordeaux center. The indoor space is spacious and cozy. The service is pretty amiable. I ordered chai latte frappé, which is too sweet. Even though the cinnamon spice is strong enough but I prefer to taste stronger tea flavor as well. And the banana bread was a bit too dry. The taste is a bit plain with sugar dominating the taste profile. But, it’s a place where you can study or work for their large tables.
