Best boulangerie of Bordeaux. We came here to start our tour throw Bordeaux. We decide that the best way to start the day in the city was with a breakfast. We found this place and was the best thing we did. We came before 10.00 and they were full of delicious pastries. The chocolate croissant and the classic croissant are the best ones that I ever taste. Now I’m wondering if I ever taste a real croissant until today. The coffe was really nice too. The service very good. Very nice people, and they speak English and Spanish. So was very easy for us to communicate.

We came back at lunch time, and they were almost sold out. Only left the olives focaccia, was delicious, and made the perfect lunch snack for us. And the raisins roll pastry, was really good. I’m so happy was the only pastry they have left, because if they had a croissant probably I would miss to taste this delicious pastry! It’s definitely a place to stop on your visit to Bordeaux, and I highly recommend to be there early in the morning to be able to choose from all the amazing...

A wide variety of pastry options and friendly staff.

Taste wise, it’s good. Not too sweet but got all the flavors and the right balance. I’ve never found croichec in other boulangeries in France before so it’s very interesting to try. The brioche praliné is soft, which I like. There is another famous boulangerie around the Hôtel de Ville providing the same product, I think they are paralleled in terms of overall taste. As for the chocolatine, it seemed to be too inflated? Very flaky, I’d say the flakiest I’ve ever had. The buttery taste and chocolate is good but the texture is just not what I expected from a chocolatine. Then the baguette is pretty standard.

In terms of price, it’s a bit pricier than other boulangeries, but not by a huge margin.

I’ve checked other comments, maybe the cookies and the cinnamon rolls would be a better try if you intend to get...

Omg this was one of the best boulangeries I have visited. The person behind the counter is so friendly compared to regular boulangerie. They also have a little place to sit and enjoy their delicious treats. What I had: croissant au beurre, cinnamon roll and escargot pistache chocolat. Price: the whole thing came upto 6 euros. The croissant was baked to perfection, not too flaky not too buttery or dry, it was just perfect! The cinnamon roll and escargot were good too!
