The fatigue is real.

Monday, May 26 2025. Lunchtime around 13:00

Teenage waitress glared at us as we walked in and asked for a table. She had a sullen frown on her face as she pointed to the nearest one. No, I said, we would like a table on the back patio that's nicer. She literally rolled her eyes at us, and started walking away towards the back. We followed and sat down.

She then proceeded to ignore us for 15 minutes while I tried to get her attention several times. Several times she looked in my direction, and continued doing whatever she was doing, which included talking super loudly with the kitchen staff. All the diners could hear her conversation loud and clear with the kitchen staff since it is right next to the patio we were seated at.

We said we'd give her five more minutes to at least come over and take our drink orders. Well, five minutes passed and nothing, so we got up and left. On the way out, we passed her, and she just looked at us with the same frown, but now with a guilty look that I read to mean "oops, I hope the boss don't find out."

Well guess what happened. Am I right? Guess what happened!

If I were the owner of this restaurant, especially one that opened recently, I would want to know which one of my employees were acting like this.

Expérience très décevante ! En effet nous avions vu une vidéo sur TikTok très attrayante sur les lieux, qui dès notre arrivée ne s’est pas fait ressentir.. À peine installées le serveur (ou responsable de salle) arrive dans la foulée pour prendre notre commande, sans nous laisser le temps de découvrir la carte, il reviendra donc plus tard. Toute se passe bien l’apéro et les entrées arrivent, qui sont par ailleurs très bonnes. C’est là où tout bascule, quand malgré une salle vide (très vide) nous patientons 45min pour les plats, des clients derrière nous arrivés après nous et partis avant nous car déjà servis.. c’est pour vous dire l’attente! Lorsque que le serveur se rend compte que la suite n’est toujours pas arrivée, il s’énerve auprès des cuisiniers (pourquoi devant les clients ? La suite a t’elle au moins été annoncée aux cuisiniers ?). Donc après cette réaction théâtrale que nous avons pu voir et entendre, malgré tout ça, personne ne vient nous voir pour nous dire qu’il y a tout simplement eu un problème ou oubli pour notre commande.. donc rajoutez 10min d’attente. Nous décidons finalement de partir sans avoir mangé, car le plat toujours pas lancé, et il n’y avait absolument pas de rush, pas de cuissons longues (justifiant le temps d’attente..). Qu’elle fut ma surprise quand on me dis : « vous partez sans avoir vos plats ? », que voulez vous que je réponde à ça ? Un gros agacement de sa part (je peux concevoir, mais l’erreur n’est pas la notre !) Puis aucun geste commercial, pour au moins s’excuser ou donner l’envie de revenir. Donc payer plein pot pour boissons entrées, pour un service quand même peu qualitatif ce soir là, 0 communication et effort je pense. Très dommage, je pense que c’est simplement une mauvaise expérience, mais je n’y retournerai pas. Aucunes excuses reçues, je suis encore dans l’incompréhension. J’ai longuement hésité à transmettre mon expérience, mais je pense qu’il est important d’en parler, ne serait ce que pour l’équipe et les clients...

Excellent restaurant with ditto service. We arrived too early for dinner which they start serving at 19. The very friendly waiter reserved a table for us so we could return at that time.

We had the sharing plates both for our starter and our main. Both were very good but the plate for the main was really excellent. We especially enjoyed the beef and the octopus but really all the food was excellent.

We also enjoyed an excellent pina colada and a yuzu margarita. At a little under 90 euro s for the two of us, this place offers very good value for money. Would...
