I am ambivalent about the place. The location is amazingly beautiful. The food is a bit hit and miss considering the price range (tartar great, pasta not so great, chocolate/pistachio cake great, meringue not so great).
But the main turn off has been the maître d. My child got stuck for about 10 min in a lavatory because of a faulty lock. After long minutes of crying and screaming, a customer rescued her to open the door with a knife. You’ll sooner see the new year coming than your drinks. Decent wine list. I would give a critic on the food, but kitchen closes for much of the afternoon, so I’ve never I’d the chance to try. It seem it would make sense to be continued service, after all, it’s in prime location of the busiest park of Bordeaux. At least for weekends?
In the end, a nice spot to stop for a drink with the puppy, while you think of where...
