Mcdonald's — Restaurant in Bordeaux

Slow and disorganised service. Not up to expected standards

Note to staff. CB01, approx 10 am 3/7/2024 I was presented first with an incomplete order, and then delayed an unreasonable amount of time, after which staff were still unable to complete my order.

Having run out of time I left my order receipt and instructions to reverse the charges

While this note remains up, reimbursement has not yet been received and the case remains liable to further escalation

**Update † McDonald's has provided a canned response, no attention to specialfics, some excuses and an email address, but still no refund

Having reminded the "franchise's customer relations director" of the unresolved issue, her response was that she would not reverse the charges, but demanded I make a special trip back to Bordeaux, and make an appointment to see her about resolving the issue. This is not just another McDonald's. It's quite a large place. Sitting was quite easy on the day we came in. The great thing about it is that it not downtown Bordeaux so you just don't get that crowd of tourists seen in the city center. You do see a lot of locals, which is nice for someone trying to mix with residents and trying to understand the French lifestyle. The service was great and the staff was super nice and friendly. Le lundi 09/09/2024, pendant ma pause de midi (une heure de pause entre 12H et 13H) je suis allé manger exceptionnellement au macdonald de Ginko à Bordeaux Lac qui se situe environ à 10 minutes de mon lieu de travail. J'ai commandé un menu maxi best of avec 9 nuggets, un ice tea green 50 mL et un muffin au chocolat (le tout à emporter) et quelle ne fut ma surprise lorsqu'en ouvrant mon sachet je n'y ai trouvé que 2 macfishs avec une petite frite et un petit coca cola. Je suis alors allé à l'accueil qui m'a confirmé qu'ils avaient effectivement interverti ma commande avec celle d'un autre et m'on alors fait patienté le temps que l'autre personne se rende compte qu'elle avait également été trompée. Après avoir enfin récupéré ma bonne commande je fut stupéfait de me rendre compte que rien n'avait changé, je suis alors retourné à l'accueil pour avoir des explications et récupérer ma commande et je du patienter encore 10 minutes pour que je soit enfin livré. Ne restant que 10 minutes à ma pause, je du finalement me resigner à manger au bureau une commande froide, sans sauces, sans serviettes, sans muffin. Je précise que j'ai quand même eu comme "compensation" un cookie pour une commande, je le précise qui m'a couté plus de 18 euros. Une si piètre qualité de service se doit d'être notée comme elle se doit afin de prévenir de futurs consommateurs de ce qui les attends. En bref, je ne recommande absolument pas d'aller manger à ce macdonald d'autant plus si votre temps pour manger est assez...
