Orta — Restaurant in Bordeaux

This is an amazing restaurant with delicious food and really lovely staff! We had a pre wedding meal for about 20 people at the start of October and reserved a beautiful space upstairs in Orta. We had some difficulty with traffic and so our party arrived a bit late but everyone at the restaurant were so accommodating and understanding. The food was really tasty with a great amount of variety - and all of our guests enjoyed everything so much. I would highly recommend this restaurant. It’s in a beautiful part of the city, it’s got amazing atmosphere and in our experience the people there really made the extra effort to make our party special! We will definitely be returning when we go back...

Merci, We visit the restaurant in the early evening and it was already full outside, like in any other place around. But anyway inside it was also very nice. J'ai beaucoup hésité entre 3 et 4 étoiles mais Google ne laisse pas de nuance suffisante, alors je détaille en commentaire.

Les points positifs : L’accueil et le service sont très sympas, l'attente a été courte, et les serveurs sont aux petits soins.

La qualité des plats : Les plats sont très bons, les poissons sont mêmes excellents, et les assiettes soignées.

Mais alors pourquoi cette note ?

La quantité. Je suis un bon mangeur, et je prévois généralement le coup en mangeant un peu avant d'aller au restaurant, car je sais que les portions sont rarement rassasiantes. Mais là c'est vraiment compliqué. Malgré avoir mangé avant, opté pour le menu avec 4 plats (48€), je ressors de table en ayant encore faim.

Je pense qu'un réel effort serait à faire de ce côté là, car en dépit de l'excellent cadre du repas, malgré la qualité des plats excellente, régler presque 50€ dans un restaurant en se demandant ce que l'on va manger en sortant laisse malheureusement un arrière-goût...
