Nous sommes allés fêter notre anniversaire de couple sur la suggestion d’un ami nous avons été conquis par ce restaurant ! L’ambiance déjà est super et le cadre très beau. Les serveurs et serveuses ainsi que le barman étaient très agréables et aux petits soins, toujours le sourire durant tout notre service ! Niveau cuisine, si nous pouvions mettre 10 étoiles nous l’aurions fait avec plaisir ! Nous avons pris les ravioles de foie gras au porto, habituellement dans les restaurants qu’on a pu faire quand l’on prenait des plats au foie gras on avait tendance à chercher le goût de ce dernier, mais alors pour ces ravioles le goût était plus que présent c’était vraiment délicieux, que ce soit le foie gras ou le porto tout était bien dosé, tellement bien préparé ! Au niveau des plats j’ai pris un magret au Jack Daniel au delà de la cuisson PARFAITEMENT RÉUSSIE encore une fois les saveurs étaient au rendez vous. Pour ma compagne c’était un plat à la viande de porc (j’ai oublié le nom), la mousse de brebis était surprenante et très bonne, et le plat en lui même était encore une fois délicieux ! Nous n’avons pas pris de dessert car les plats et les entrées étaient bien copieux ! Mention spéciale pour le mocktail servie dans la baignoire c’était très original et d’ailleurs mocktail très bon également ! En résumé de ma longue thèse, antithèse, synthèse lol, ce restaurant est notre meilleure découverte de l’année, nous prévoyons d’y revenir ! Merci à l’équipe vous avez vraiment été géniaux et merci également au(x) cuisinier(s) ne changez jamais de voie vous êtes parfaits !

Wonderful meal in a hidden alleyway. Ordered the ravioli appetizer (which was my favorite dish of everything we ordered), the duck, fish, and the seared apricot dessert. Everything was presented beautifully. Ravioli came out steaming and super saucy. So flavorful. Duck had a really good black currant sauce. Fish was more delicate, and paired really nicely with a white wine they had on their menu (one of the most floral-forward whites I’ve had). Apricots were a light, delicate dessert and kept us from feeling too heavy.

This was recommended by a hotel Marty staff and it was spot on good. They booked the reservation for us and we were happy with our first casual dinner experience in Bordeaux. We were happy with all the dishes we ordered(see photos). The staffs were friendly and helpful. They greeted us when we arrived and thanked us when we left. Like most restaurants in Bordeaux, payment is at the counter, not at the table. This was our favorite dinner experience in Bordeaux, as far as food goes.

The food was good, but we were there with a promotion of 50 per cent by the fork and they didn't allow us to apply it under any reason. The waitress said that we have to ask 16 different meals (a first and a second dish to each person, 8) in order to apply the discount. So it was all a fake the FORK DISCOUNT, be aware of it. The first waitress, a medium age man with horrible cut of hair was really really rude and he shows a lack of any kind of good education. At least, we decided to stay and the room was the warmest place that I have ever been into. I may well send a complain to the consumer office because it is illegal to announce a promotion and later not to offer it and I highly recommend you another restaurant such as melody which is in front of them. We arrived with a large party. The server was nice, but the meal was un enjoyable due to the chef ignoring all the requests for the steak. He sent them all out rare (very very rare). Mine and two others were lukewarm too, with no crust nor salt, simply unenjoyable and way more rare than any of us had requested. We sent it back, which I never do, hoping they would be able to sear it a little more and atleast heat up the meat. Big mistake. It felt the chef was punishing us and sent us all out brand new (less nice) cuts of meat, cooked well done (brown throughout and tough). It was simply bad and the worst meal I had in France. Wine also tasted cheap and way below what one would expect in Bordeaux. I did enjoy the citrus dessert, though, and the space was quite beautiful...

I will start with the thing that we really wanted to came to the restaurant because its was looking really nice and we were so disappointed! Except The first waitress that she was very nice to us, the rest of the team didn’t care about us and didn’t gave us a good service, we are professional cooks and we waited for 45 minutes (!!!) for a dish and after that we received the first dish from 2 , the dish wasnt fresh and tasted badly, instead of taking care of us, the manager mistreated us and put this in the bill instead of to change the dish, and tried figure out a solution. I will definitely wont come...
