I have been there a few times since the EXPATS hang there time to time. And Sweeny bar is next to it and tend to be open longer. I have eaten a few times here and had cocktails. I do not really like the nachos all the time or the lack of avacado or dip choice. I think the amount of avocado on top is too much and should be given in its own bowl. I also dont think their mohito is any good, there are better places for it. Overall, the service is fine which is why it gets 4 stars. And most of the staff speaks good english which isa bonus. A pretty cool pub/bar - even for us 50's+! This was one of the many bars we visited post dinner one night. (Me and my wife) It was in an easy part of town to walk to with lots to see on the way and lots of others bars/restaurants around too. It's a cool set-up inside. Enough space for many people and when we were there a real mix from young to (much) older! The selection of beers/wine/spirits is more than enough. I tried their own beer which I'd highly recommend. Located in an old womens prison near the waterfront in central historic Bordeaux this bar has amazing atmosphere. The staff were super helpful and were fluent in English as well as French. There's a brewery on site which is super cool to see and smell on days they've brewed. They had a deal for nachos and a jug of beer (4 pints) for €20 and the best nachos I've had in ages!
