Wonderful place! My first real truffle experience. The smell of earthy truffle fills the air as soon as you step in the door, and the owners are very friendly and cheerful. The menu is listed only on small blackboards hanging on the wall, in French - very cute! - so use Google translate or go with the recommendations! We did a bit of both. As far as the food, it was a bit of a mixed experience for me. The truffle butter with bread was incredible - by far the most vibrant and delicious truffle flavor I have had in any dish at any restaurant. The truffle tiramisu was also delicious, though the truffle flavor was hard to pick out; I thought it had some savory notes, which added to the flavor. The truffle scallops were interesting and very good, but low on that familiar truffle flavor I expected, even though entire slices of truffle covered the scallops. And the duck with mashed potatoes and truffle really left me hanging. There was a pile of shredded truffle to stir into the dish, but it didn't seem the truffle flavor was there at all, and the dish itself was also lacking. Is the truffle just somehow different when it's not mixed into something like butter? I don't really know. Regardless, it was a good experience, and I would like to come back to try again. Four stars for the mixed experience; dishes are smallish so order several to share and be sure to add the provided sea salt to...

One-off chance decision to eat here made for one of the highlights of our holiday. The city was quiet and the restaurant was empty. It was the wonderful music - and the thought of truffles - that drew us in. The owner was so friendly, knowledgeable and interesting we ordered more than we thought we could eat. Happily for us it was all outstanding and we had no problem eating every delicious morsel. Highly, highly recommended for not only the food and the wine but for a truly genuine...

Stayed in the gite next door. Popped in for an end of day nightcap. We asked to see the wine list -'non!' Instead the owner insisted we try a taster of 3 bottles before ordering our preferred wine. Of course, we were all delighted with our own choice. Utterly charming place, utterly charming owner. Highly reco.mend on this experience alone. I imagine the truffle based food will equal the ambience and the pride the owner shows in his...

Wonderful place with incredibly cheerful and knowledgable service. Great advice on wine and able to adapt to specific tastes from more punchy to elegant. However if you do not like truffel, wrong place, all food has truffel. The dishes are great as we ate ourselves through the menu visiting it twice. Combinations you did not expect work like the truffel tiramisu. Even got ourselves some truffel to take home! Wish I had asked for some recipes....

We really enjoyed our meal. Unsurprisingly truffles feature generously in everything. They freshly grate truffles for many dishes just before serving. The approach to wine is great as they bring out three bottles to try, explaining each in turn. We had a nice evening in this intimate setting. Highly recommended if you want to try truffles. More expensive than other places, but a nice experience.
