Terrible Experience - Rude Staff and False Promises

I recently had the unfortunate experience of visiting this restaurant and I am compelled to share my disappointment. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a server who was casually smoking right in front of the entrance, which was not only unprofessional but also incredibly rude.

Despite being told to return in an hour, we decided to comply and came back after just 45 minutes. To our dismay, the same server who initially told us to wait, now informed us that there was no space available for us. This blatant disregard for our time and the false promise of a table left us feeling frustrated and disrespected.

The lack of communication and consistency within the staff was apparent, as we were given conflicting information about the availability of tables and the need for reservations. The way we were treated and the mismanagement of our reservation attempt is truly disappointing and reflects poorly on the establishment.

I strongly advise others to think twice before considering dining at this restaurant. The unprofessional behavior of the staff and the complete lack of respect for potential customers make for an experience that is far from enjoyable. There are certainly better options in town that value their patrons...

Terrible experience here with both the food and service. The young lady working behind the counter was easily frustrated while trying to juggle our huge order for three simple, premade sandwiches. OK, maybe it was because we were the only customers there at the time and she wished for more. On top of that the three sandwiches were horrible and I’ve had a lot of these sandwiches in France over the years. It’s the famous tomate et fromage on baguette sandwich. They are served everywhere here - in restaurants, street stands, airports, train stations, etc etc. Sometimes I get them heated and sometimes not. Either way they are always good and uniquely French. I’ve ordered them from everywhere and this one was the worst. Undercooked bread, tasteless cheese, pathetic tomatoes. The food itself and the place was really nice. I was disappointed by how rushed we were though. My starter plate was removed before I'd finished my mouthful and desert was brought almost immediately before I'd even finished my wine from the very heavy main course which wasn't ideal because the desesrt couldn't be left in the sun and I was very full, plus red wine and chocolate aren't an amazing pairing. We were then asked about coffee and brought the bill before we'd even got halfway through the desert and any time we were spoken to it was super rapid.
