Very much over rated on google reviews, we booked on the strength of rating, very disappointed, Cassoulet was tasty but poor, half a sausage, scraggy duck leg, beans were good. Waiter was running the show and doing his best, the older guy (owner?) was pretty clueless. My wife had bolognaise and her comment was, had better in a uk roadside cafe. Certainly not restaurant standard. Desserts were good. We left half a bottle of wine on the table, let’s get outta here. Read moreWe visited on a windy Monday evening and the town was very quiet. However, we were made to feel very welcome by a team who were very friendly and engaging, as though we were friends. Food was delicious, but I’d have liked a green vegetable or salad with my chicken. What I had was rustic and very tasty and the rose wine was produced close by and very good. My daughter and I shared a Cesar salad with crispy chicken and then she had pasta with mushroom sauce and I had roast chicken and potatoes with mushroom sauce. They had many non mushroom options we just both love forest mushrooms. Dessert was delicious too!
