Horrible experience trying to have lunch at this place. Firstly they mentioned they were fully booked. While searching for an alternate option (we were 2 and had a baby on a stroller), two people asked us if they should enter through the door close to where we were standing. We said they could try because the restaurant was fully booked. They said they didn’t have a reservation either and entered and got a table. We then asked the host how did that happen and she replied they had a table for habituees, which weren’t clearly the case. If they don’t accept strollers they should just mention that. I love the concept - archway entrance with wine bar on right, leads into courtyard with small dining tables and upright beer barrels with bar stools, plus some al fresco tables and then the higher patio, which is the main restaurant area. There are also 2 inside rooms with the bar. All to say that it's set up for formal dining but with room for anyone who wants a drink or to eat informally. Had a great lunch here yesterday, the menu du jour is excellent value for money and their affiliation to the Anne de Joyeuse wine co-operative in Limoux means that the wine is very good and also incredibly reasonably priced - we had a bottle of the 'french défilé' rosé which was delicious and under €13.
