Great B&B, fab location just a short distance from The Old Bridge, the local square - Place Carnot, the train station, the bus station, and, of course, the castle.|The property is down a street that is closed off from cars.|At first glance, it may look intimidating as most of the properties are under construction. However, the street is very well-lit at night and is popular for people to stroll through on their way to The Bridge.||The lovely lady who owns, lives in, and runs the property, is a great French host. She uses a translator on her phone to chat - which is a bonus!||I am sure she said the house was built in the 1700s. (approx 20 steps up to each floor). They lead to the top floor where a small outside terrace has been created. Wonderful views! A coffee machine and seating area are available up there for a lovely afternoon rest.||Breakfast is a bowl of mixed fruit, croissant, bread, yoghurt, orange juice, butter, and jam with coffee or tea.||The rooms are spacious with en-suite. |My double bed was a bit squeaky but not uncomfortable. Large TV, towels, and robes were available.|My room also had lovely authentic shutters to the windows.||I would recommend it if you want to stay in a bit of the local history and enjoy...

In a quiet street, no traffic, but if you have the windows open at the front it could be echoey. No.comllaimtd at...
