I made a reservation in my poorly spoken French but the proprietor was kind and patient with me. On our arrival the staff made us feel comfortable and welcomed. The atmosphere was wine cellar decor but with a large window to the outside. The music was just the right volume to enjoy, enough to have conversations. I enjoyed the jazz music played. Our experience was excellent. When we asked at our hotel for a good restaurant around, both receptionists suggested this one and I can see why. The personnel were really nice with us and the food was lovely. I was not feeling my best, they came to check if I was fine and they did give me the food for takeaway. My partner did finish both the courses and he loved them.

They also recommended a good local wine.
