I visited La Fine Huere back in June and had the most amazing lunch I’ve had in a long time. It was a beautifully presented, delicious quail that I raved about all summer and made it a point to make sure we had dinner reservations for our trip this weekend. Last night, it was so disappointing. The appetizers were dropped off and no explanation was given of what it was. I’m assuming it was mushroom, but it was in foam form and served in a shot glass. The waitress dropped them off at the end of the table and left. The entrees were good; nothing crazy special, but nothing was wrong with them. For our dinners, I ordered the pigeon because I was hoping it was going to compare to the amazing quail I had this summer. I don’t know who had approved serving a pigeon with the foot/talon still attached, but it was a turn off to the meal. Myself and the rest of the table had to try to look away from our dishes to eat the dinner. Benefit of the doubt that maybe pigeon is normally served this way? I looked up other pigeon dishes served, and most were not. It was unappetizing. The food was decent - the vegetables were amazing, but for a Michelin star, I was disappointed. Dessert was delicious and the wine selection was good. Wait is long between dishes
probably about 20-30 mins per dish: we arrived at 7:30pm and left around 10:30pm. Not sure if it was because there was a private party that evening. I wanted to bring my friends to one of the best restaurants, no frills but delicious food, but everyone was underwhelmed. If I’m in Dijon again, I may try lunch one more time to see if tonight was a fluke because it was so good before, but for last night, I was so sadly disappointed. I miss the cozy feel I felt in June; very cozy farmhouse vibes where last night didn’t feel cozy at all.

What a pleasant find, and a gem not to be missed! To the chef who created the deconstructed beef bourguignon- pure genius in every element of the dish! The vegetables were cooked to perfection but even more impressive was the potato - it reminded me of a mille-feuille! The sauce for me was on a saltier side so I avoided it but each element on the plate from the vegetables to the meat were seasoned perfectly. The escargots were a first for me and I am glad I got to try this here! It was delicious! And finally the dessert - when I saw that it would be served with a white chocolate sauce, I was hesitant and curious as sometimes a white chocolate can completely over sweeten a dish. But the chef did it again! A perfect use of white chocolate indeed to contrast the freshly tasting poached pear and the spiced crumbles. I am going to miss this dish for sure. Last but not least, a BIG appreciation goes to Mouza, who for me was like a conductor in an orchestra. There were so many tables to manage even on a Tuesday night and he managed it with poise and control. Appreciate the smile and kindness throughout as well. Great work team and thank you for making my first dining experience in Dijon so pleasant. Highly highly recommended 💯

Great service. I had baked aubergine for a starter, pork and mash main (needed a different sauce - not much flavour, maybe a tomato one) and macarpone dessert with peaches in sirop. They don't do cocktails but they have aperitifs. I had kir burgond- creme de cassis (blackcurrant liqueur) with cremant (sparking wine). The dessert was nice. It's pretty expensive. It's a wine shop that does wine tasting and then has a restaurant attached to it, so of course there is a large selection of wine. Service was quick and friendly and they speak English (like everywhere here). It's nice that they offer tap water as well.

Worst Restaurant & Worst Experience, we didn’t make any reservation for dinner but was able to be seated. Problems with restaurant is POOR Service, food is not good, I ordered Fillet Mignonette and came out cold por loin. I complained to waiter saying it was cold and didn’t taste even good and Girl waitress very disrespectful and disgusting attitude. We Ordered before another couple that came in an was served after there order. Waited for a long time for main course and got in to an argument match with girl waitress in front of customers. IF YOU READ THIS THINK TWICE ABOUT EATING HERE OR Experience it your self! Will never come to this restaurant nor even give it a second chance after my experience with food...
