Chamkila — Restaurant in Grasse

Absolutely horrible service, the woman (owner of the place?) was so arrogant and rude I was in shock. We ordered quite many dishes, and several of them the woman forgot to bring or brought entirely wrong dishes instead. When we politely mentioned what was missing from our order, she rudely accused us of not having ordered those dishes, even though we definitely did. She didn't apologize even once and just shouted at us and made everything seem like our fault, even though it was her who messed up the order because she didn't listen to what we said. What an awful person.

The male waiter (who has been there before but now wasn't present) however is very funny and friendly, and the food (although not entirely what we ordered) was good. I suggest only to go when the madame is...

We booked the restaurant, we were running late so let them know, they said it was fine no problem. Arrived and rude waiter said we were late despite letting them know, any how. Ordered cobra beer, nope none left, ordered kingfisher nope apparently all sold out on a Saturday night. We then ordered popadoms nope all sold out! I asked them do they have anything left? We were seated at 2000 and ready to order for 6 people but the attitude of the main waiter was so bad we made the decision to leave. If you do not have stock tell the clients when they enter that you can not supply that item, especially items that are standard for any Indian restaurant. Do not waste your money here, worst Indian food I have ever experienced. The popadoms looked like supermarket purchase and the 2 condiments were not traditional, one was a very spicy hot green paste and cannot even describe the other. Prawn Malia the prawns were not dressed properly and the size of shrimps, come on look at all the local fresh seafood in the location!! My chicken tikka was as the menu states cubed chicken, should have realised how bad this place is from the wording on the menus.
