DA CITO — Restaurant in Grasse

The staff are great, the service is fantastic. The menu my partner and I chose (19€ deal) was fantastic, the food is fresh and sesional so it will probably change BUT I HAVE to recommend the; chevre toast (comes with an amazing salad and the dressing is liquid gold), Moules/mussels are fantastic according to my partner and the portion is very good , Burger (I'd have paid my half just for the burger, if you enjoy burgers this will be one of the best you'll ever have) and biscuit Tirimasu (whipped cream, lotus biscuits and salted caramel I think, amazing) - If you have fries/chips/frites as part of your meal it comes as a large sharing pot, and they're bloody good !

The location is under the market structure so there is shelter from direct sun or rain, you can admire merchants selling art and relax here.

10/10 will be back here again, 2 x 3 course meals made fresh, a coke and quarter bottle of good tasting wine for 46.50€ it's by far the best value for money/experience you can find.

This restaurant is a must if going to Old Town Antibes. It was packed when we arrived without a reservation at 7.15pm. They told us they were full but when we said that we could wait, they gave us a reservation for 8.30pm. When arriving at 8.25pm, it was still packed. A sign on it's popularity. I heard local guests talking about their regular visits at the table next to us, a sign that it's not one of those tourist traps. The food was unbelievable. Very well prepared, cooked, tasty, fresh, later quantities and reasonably priced. There were live musicians that added some nice atmospheric music. The fish comes fresh everyday, you can tell. We had muscles and fries and linguini with calamari and eggplant. Best meal I had in Nice this trip and last as we've been twice. I can't say enough how amazing this restaurant is, how I wish they had one back in Montreal. I loved the whole experience. Overall notes: Bland food, over charged on our bill for extra wine, suspected that they dug our food out of the trash for the to go box.

My family ate here for dinner around 6:30pm. The food is mediocre at best, all very under seasoned. We asked for a box for our leftover pizza (1/4 pie left) and the waiter gave us a very dirty look and said “for this?“ He said he would do it and when he brought the check out, he did not bring the food and they overcharged us for extra wine, which we had to point out to them. They still didn’t bring the food out after we paid so when we asked them, he went back into the kitchen for a very long time, and we suspect that they dug it out of the trash because we had added some toppings to the pizza from our pasta dishes that were no longer on the pizza. Any restaurant is better than this one skip this tourist trap and get some good pizza around the corner...
