Palais de Jaipur — Restaurant in Grasse

We had the most unpleasant experience with this restaurant on 31st of Dec 2021. We had ordered a special new year's dinner at this restaurant. Not only was the order never delivered (by a Uber Eats delivery guy), when we called up the restaurant, we did not receive an empathetic hearing. The Uber Eats customer service acknowledged the next day that the order was never delivered. The restaurant received the payment, someone (I'm guessing the Uber Eats delivery guy) enjoyed an expensive meal at our expense, and yet we would have been left hungry on new year's eve had it not been for the 24 hours room service facility in our excellent five star hotel!!!

We travel to Cannes regularly for pleasure and work. I will never eat in this restaurant, nor would I recommend relying on an Uber Eats delivery from this restaurant. My comment echoes earlier comments that those managing this restaurant have no sense of service and demonstrate an absolute lack of ethicality. The least they could have done (considering they had received the full payment and the knew that the food had not been delivered) is to offer to send us another meal package - even if at additional charge - considering the context (new year's eve, families celebrating etc.)! But I guess that is too much to expect from these individuals! Utterly...

Worst ever Indian restaurant I have ever visited. I still wonder if it is really an Indian restaurant. I have never seen any Indian sending out their customers. This is the worst restaurant which did tht. I don’t know if tht person was a owner or just a worker their. We were there on 15th June at 10:30. We waited for half an hour and that person did not even care to attend our table. If he was not the owner, I request the respective owner to fire him. If you yourself were owner, then God should save the Restaurant but atleast change the name to some other than calling it an Indian restaurant. We Indians are know to respect our Customers. It is a bad name to our our Country for the worst behavior showed by this whom so ever person in the restaurant in front of other people. We went there for dinner yesterday in a group of 11 persons. The manager there gave us the feeling as if we are really not welcome or important to him as a customer. Though we reached the restaurant at 9.50 pm which is well before and more than 70 minutes before the closing time. He made us hurry through the order and told us that he can take order only once and we can not place order later, which is strange because we were not aware of the quantities of any portion which they would serve. The quantities of veg or non veg dishes is really very less from any standard. Food is just about average in taste. When we tried to place order for a plate of onions, he was very reluctant to take this order although they charged us for full salad plate, which is okay.
