La broche de Léonard — Restaurant in Grasse

Was a disaster. We arrived at our time, table was ready. We were 3 people and got 1 menu. OK we can work with that. The guy came to take our order, we asked him if he had something, mid sentence someone from the table next to us wanted something, he left us hanging. From that moment we should have said OK we go, but we stayed. I have to say it was the 14th of July, so was a lot on the street. Finally we call him and practically throw our command for the drinks, and also ask for another menu. The drinks come couple of minutes later, OK. Still no menu, ask for it again and also ice cubes. We had to ask for another time and finally got it. For food we ordered steak tartar and burrata, both were amazing and came properly on time. The took the plates. We ordered mains that were ove 30€ each, I expect a change of utensils to eat. We had to ask for it and they got it, not with the best attitude. Main came after around 30 minutes after they took the entree. We ordered lamb, magret and steak. The only one the was good was the lamb. They asked how we wanted the meat, and both came over well done and cold. After complaining we got new ones. The steak super quick, the duck took around 15 minutes. After they change it the flavour was great! They forgot to bring the sides (they told us they were warming them when we ask, but why you bring the main without the sides?) But we left quite disappointed. When we went to pay the bill, I came inside to ask for it, the guy was over stressed and ask me in not a proper way to wait outside and he would bring it to the table. This was 21:15, take in consideration we arrived at 19:30. It was 21:45 and we got no bill after asking for it multiple times. Another family left because they could not figure it out what they ordered, so it was not just our table. We finished leaving there at 21:50 and only because we ask for the 5th time...

I have been flying to Cannes for many years and I chose this restaurant because I wanted to try it and also because there is another favorite restaurant next to it in the street and so I could compare it. At first glance, a nice restaurant. Only one waiter and obviously inexperienced in the field (walked unnecessarily and did not take dirty dishes). Which could already be seen when serving the table. But he was clearly trying. Unfortunately, you don't want to sit next to an untidy table for half an hour. To my taste, a long wait for water, wine, bread, food... But the cook is really perfect. That deserves the highest praise. Fish excellent, foie gras excellent.... other food too. Thanks to the chef, I am willing to come there on my next visit to Cannes and hopefully the service will improve and speed up. When I choose this restaurant. I found perfect comments. But we order 2 beef steak and duck chest. The beef was soooo hard. And I was trying communicating with them. One of the stuff told me. They will cancel one beef steak. And the service was really bad.and the waiter told me the chef changed every 2 weeks. Maybe one week. It is reason the level of the taste is not stable. Plsssssss be careful. The boss said to me. I’m the boss. I change my mind. Because I talked to another table which is Spanish customer in Spanish. They told me the same. The beef is too Duro. Pls don’t throw your money...
