Hotel De Provence has become our treasured retreat in Cannes, and for good reason. The location is absolutely perfect - just steps away from the iconic Croisette and its beautiful beaches. What makes this hotel truly special is its proximity to everything you need: wonderful restaurants, beach bars, and excellent shopping, all within easy walking distance. A highlight of our stays is visiting Vega La Plage, just a short stroll from the hotel. This elegant beach club offers the perfect Mediterranean experience - relaxing on comfortable sunbeds with panoramic views of the Lérins Islands, followed by exceptional cuisine that celebrates the flavours of the region.
The staff here are exceptionally welcoming and friendly, making every stay so unique. We've been traveling to the South of France for nearly two decades, often visiting family in Cavalaire, and discovering this gem in Cannes has made our stays even more magical. With its elegant French character, this hotel reflects everything we adore about the South of France. And the hotel's central location makes it an ideal base for exploring both Cannes and the surrounding Côte d'Azur.
What truly sets this hotel apart is its wonderful staff. Slavica, Steffie, Jerry and Julie, and the entire team make every stay special with their genuine warmth and hospitality. The hotel's charming garden courtyard is a slice of Provençal heaven - perfect for enjoying breakfast in the morning sunshine or unwinding with a glass of rosé in the evening. Our room's balcony became a favourite spot for morning tea and peaceful evenings after exploring the city.
The hotel's authentic French character, combined with its perfect location and exceptional service, makes it an absolute treasure. Whether you're here for the beaches, shopping, dining, or simply soaking in the French Riviera atmosphere, Hotel De Provence delivers on all fronts. A true gem in the...

We went to Hotel de Provence for 1 week for October half term break.
We selected it by its many glowing reviews.
We knew we were in a 3 star category whereas we usually prefer 4 even 5 stars.
When we arrived, we have been greeted by Slavica, a charming receptionist from Nordics with a broad smile on her face.
We were staying in a room on the 4th floor, decent size, excellent bedding with a qualitative mattress topper, a bathroom with a bench to sit and an alcove to put shampoo and so on in the shower, a worktop in stone, an high tech hair dryer and a magnifying mirror.
Toilets were separated from the bathroom.
Black slippers branded with the hotel name, free minibar and a balcony overlooking the garden and its magnificent palm trees.
Breakfast is served between 7am and 11am on the ground floor or in the garden and every morning, the owner came to greet us and make sure everything was going well.
We advised him that a light bulb was not working in the bedroom desk and this young man replaced it immediately while were having a generous breakfast with excellent products including squeezed oranges.
Every evening, we joined the aperitif offered for free from 7pm to 7.30pm to taste wines from the owner’s family estate. Friendly atmosphere between customers and staff.
We keep excellent memories from this little family hotel located in city center but very...
