Good pizza but horrible paccheri pasta and terrible service. The paccheri pasta was tasteless and so we asked to have it returned. Rather than change the dish - seeing as we hadn't eaten it - the waiter insisted that it was good and went on to condescendingly school us on what "al dente" was, as if we didn't know. He then proceeded to compare La Toscana to McDonalds by saying, "If you order a burger from McDonalds you can't return it". It was and it even getting better! When a pizza 🍕 has only 3 ingredients the quality cannot hide. The ingredients are even fresher than last winter, the staff are friendly, flexible and polite. It’s not a surprise that even if Grenoble is empty during bank holidays this place is still fully booked busy and they do it with smile and hard work! Oh, and did I mention they have natural wine from Puglia and many options for bio drinks 🍷? Exceptional...

Nice pizza, super friendly staff. Fairly substantial pizza base 4/5. Second try, and the pizza was a little less interesting, but the base was still good. Third visit, and I'm building my appreciation for the good quality simple ingredients and attention to detail. The calzone with the traditional ricotta has great flavours.

Don't visit if you're a fan of ravioli, egg or pineapple on your pizza. They're not a fan of these toppings according...
