La Felicita Restaurant Italien & Pizzeria — Restaurant in Grenoble

We spent a couple of very relaxing hours here watching the river and listening to the hum of the traffic while trying unsuccessfully to down a huge octopus salad followed by snail pizza. The owner was friendly, the wine reasonably priced and the sky blue. What else could you want? Update for 2017: A summer storm was rattling around above Grenoble bringing some pretty heavy and cold rain but dinner at La Felicita was as good as ever. Special mention to the huge assiette de charcuterie starters, the wonderful pizza topped with magret de canard and fried giblets, and the hugely refreshing Pineapple Carpaccio. I had the pleasure of dining at La Felicita in Grenoble recently and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The food was nothing short of phenomenal! We started with the Burrata salad which was filled with an array of cheeses, and vegetables. The flavors were so fresh and perfectly balanced. For our entrees, we ordered the carbonara and the Verdura. Both dishes were cooked to perfection and had the perfect amount of flavor. The service was friendly and attentive throughout our meal and the atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable. I would highly recommend La Felicita to anyone looking for an authentic Italian...

This place was less crowded than some of the other pizza places lining the river, but it's difficult to know why. We had a lovely meal and our host (and server) was friendly, attentive and put up with our tourist questions (ex: "why are there so many Italian restaurants?") with a smile. My Pizza Blanche (ham, onions, bell pepper, pesto, rocket) was divine, and my son really enjoyed his Pasta Carbonara. The house red wine was a great value too. Highly...
