We reserved table and came on time at 19.45h. We were received for order at 20.50h. It's 22.30h and still the food hasn't been served. And we continuously asked how long will it take and were told soon, it's ready, this that and ignores us. We even wanted to walk out. But same excuses. They tell us we will give you free degustation, discount but who cares. One can he honest if they are overworked and just let us know. We didn't force ourselves here. You can try the place for yourself but I doubt it would be any different. And the food itself was rushed for the price and nothing special. Worst restaurant. We were passing by, looking for a place to have dinner, and by chance, seeing the chef outside, with a menue in his, I must admit, very capable hands. We decided to step inside and take the chance. And we were in for a surprise. After a very friendly chat and a recommendation, we ordered a vegearian-, a duck- and a meatdish. Simply delicious. Good recommendation! The surprising amuse bouche consisting of warm bread and butter, gazpacho and baked banana, all served one after the other by a unsophisticated friendly waitress, the fine tab beer, the ambient surrounding and lively music. I am so impressed by the restaurant! My wife and I just arrived at Grenoble 2 days ago. We were taking a walk near the area and found this place. I think it is the restaurant with the most 5-star reviews in the area, so we went to have a try. The staffs were super friendly and helpful to English speakers! The chef treated us 2 cups of Mojito and soup since we came a bit too late and had to wait longer for the food. And the food was super good with large servings for its price. I have nothing to say.
